You will care for it ? Or were you expecting the mother to? The mother didnt want it remember. Or were you speaking for somone else to have to care for it?

I see. So if one killed the mother that would also be a sucessful abortion because the pregnancy is terminated.
No, read and address the OP topic. The thread is about where the abortion procedure is carried out and the baby survives. At the moment you are debating with yourself about your own ideas.
Are you saying that the human offspring when removed from the womb isnt a baby if it was the result of a failed abortion?

Melissa was discarded and later found to be alive and so was her mother

The example I gave and the other example Nic added. The example I gave was where the baby was discarded but lived and where the mother also survived. So your claim was not quite right, if at all.
