Is the Father called "my God" in John 20:28?

So he wasn’t God while human?

Jesus was God. CHOOSING not to *enable* his humanity. That all his enabling was to come from the Father and Holy Spirit, just as a spiritually wise Christian should be. In that manner He was becoming the Pioneer of OUR faith. He was the proving ground designed by God, for man to walk in as to overcome the world, the flesh, and the devil.

Before coming to earth he CHOSE to deny all enabling to his humanity directly from his Deity. It was the plan to provide a perfect humanity to take our place on the Cross and to suck up all our sins on his body.... and die. He stole away our sins, so to speak, and put them to death.

Philippians 2:6-8

Who, being eternally in very nature God,
did not consider equality with God something to be used to his own advantage;
rather, he made himself nothing
by taking the very nature of a servant,
being made in human likeness.
And being found in appearance as a man,
he humbled himself
by becoming obedient to death—
even death on a cross!

The Lord God of Israel as portrayed in the Torah was having TWO NATURES.

Keep in mind. God is not soul. And, soul is not God. Correct? Jesus said that God is "spirit." (John 4:23-24) Well.. the Lord God of Israel possessed two natures in union, but without a body. Here are some examples from the OT.

Here is the Lord Jehovah of the OT manifesting two natures in union!

And they began to remove the foreign gods from their midst and to serve Jehovah,
so that his soul became impatient because of the trouble of Israel.
Jdges 10:16

Jehovah himself examines the righteous one as well as the wicked one, and anyone loving
violence his soul certainly hates."
Ps 11:5

That was the Soul of Jesus that was to deny Himself his right to all the powers of God that are rightfully his to have... And, that soul entered the body provided by Mary to make himself as a man. His Deity simply went into a passive mode in regards to enabling the man Jesus. And, had all his power needed by Deity provided by the Holy Spirit, and all thinking and planning provided by the Father through prayer.

Keep in mind. Deity is NOT soul! The Lord God of Israel consisted of both Jehovah and Soul in union.

But the hour is coming, and now is, when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit
and truth; for the Father is seeking such to worship Him.
God is spirit, and those who worship
Him must worship in spirit and truth.”
John 4:23-24

God is 'spirit.' Not, soul. Two natures were being manifested in the Lord God of Israel!

That soul was the soul that became Jesus. That is why he could say the before Abraham was born that he eternally existed!

This is not supposed to be basic doctrine.

Jesus Christ: God AND Man at all times.
But God does not have to enable his humanity at all times. God could allow his humanity to be as humanity without enabling from Deity. He chose to do that! (Philippians 2:6-8)

How else could he have been tempted like us in every way? When God can not be tempted!

His body was sinless, unlike our own. But he could be tempted like Adam was tempted. He needed to remain as a man (like Adam was created sinless) in every way as to test the system of faith that he was "inventing with the Father" for our benefit, to display that the faith he lived by would be good for every believer who will desire to mature in grace and KNOWLEDGE. The ones willing to suffer like he did for righteousness sake!

Christianity is the ONLY Trinity based religion and was so from Pentecost.

The Abrahamic God served from Moses on up until this very day is a single being God-YHWH(Jehovah) thus the religion Jesus began served that God as well. So you are in error-no trinity religion belongs to Jesus--They are a house divided, they will not stand.

David's ONE and ONLY Lord was YHWH.

In that passage-YHWH is given-LORD( but it doesnt belong in Gods word-YHWH is what God inspired to be there--So it really reads-YHWH said to my Lord( Jesus)--Jesus is never LORD all capitols in the OT, Only YHWH is.

The bible doesnt say that anywhere, you are making it up.
The Bible DOES say that.
John 2:19-21. The Son raised Himself from the dead.
Romans 8:11. The Holy Spirit raised Jesus Christ from the dead.
Galatians 1:1 The Father raised Jesus from the dead.
Case closed.

Why can you and others easily understand that? And, yet he acts as if its all new to him and obscured?

"Jesus answered them, “Destroy this temple, and I will raise it again in three days.”
They replied, “It has taken forty-six years to build this temple, and you are going
to raise it in three days?” But the temple he had spoken of was his body." John 2:19-21

We have the antagonists to God's people on record in writing the bible for our sakes.

So, we can know its to be a normal part of the package to face for those who choose to walk according to God's Word.

The antagonists Jesus faced. Paul faced. Stephen faced... etc... So? Should we be surprised when someone comes here antagonistic?

The ONLY Lord David ever had is God.

David spoke about Jesus-Psalm 45:7--he knew the messiah has a God like us and it was not God who came to earth. The same goes for all the Israelites in the NT times- so they would never bow in worship to one who has a God--they bowed in obesiance to Gods appointed king. Your translations are erred to fit false council teachings. The translating proof at John 1:1 where God is called Ho Theos and Jesus plain Theos clearly shows a difference of what is being said. The proof = 2Cor 4:4 where God is called HoTheos and satan plain Theos--the translating rule goes for both spots a small g god for plain Theos. Jesus was not called capitol G God at John 1:1. You are being mislead.

Same old ploy. When the unitarian or cultist is refuted, claim mistranslation.

My post is 100% accurate. The translation in 1822 by a Greek scholar. His NT compared Greek to English side by side to prove a god was correct. He wasnt a JW. He sought truth and shared truth-18 other translations in history had the same-a god at John 1:1--and of course rejected by every trinity clergy because fact exposes them as false religion. They wouldnt exist if they showed truth.
