Here is one of my Gospel Tracts for you to read...Nothing wrong with that ....
Of course that does not then mean we are going to agree.
I said that. I haven't seen a Calvinist ever say that here. In fact, I was discussing this with a Calvinist and they said that they didn't care if others are offended because Calvinism is offensive.
Yeah, think if you actually provided a direct (linked) quote (which CARM rules require) we would discover that your "quote" is incredibly inaccurate.
I like how Peter puts it in his epistle and ties in determinism/predestination, chosen, appointed etc.....................The answer to the charge that Calvinism is offensive to the sinner, is answered by the Calvinist as "so what. The Gospel is offensive"......
Well. There is ONE HUGE problem with this. The REAL offense of the Gospel isn't Calvinism nor their teaching of the Elect. The REAL offense of the Gospel is Jesus Christ.
Rom 9:33 As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
The real offence is Jesus Christ. Not Calvinism.
Which reminds me of how the Calvinist see themselves as being God's choice instead of Jesus Christ. Seems like there a central "theme" to Calvinism. The message of Jesus Christ being replaced by self.
