Is the Truth True?

- "What is Truth? I have heard many answers like: 'Truth is whatever you say it is,' but if I claim to be reincarnation of Jesus Christ would that make it true? I have heard that Truth is in eye of the beholder. But that would make Truth subjective rather than objective. For some reason I have always believed that Truth was transcendent of human understanding. Somethings are True in past, present or future. Gandhi said God is Truth and Truth Is God. Jesus Christ claimed to be truth incarnate. This is very bold statement to make. It is one thing to claim to speak Truth; but to claim to be incarnate of Truth is borderline insanity. Either he was mad man or devil or he was telling truth. Then again Jesus Christ could have been misquoted or misunderstood. I also admit this is very valid interpretation so there maybe more than three options. Truth is what Truth does. So what is Truth? Only God Knows and what does God know I do not know and that is one few things to do know. Amen,"

I agree. Truth is not a matter of opinion. Either Gandhi said "God is Truth and Truth Is God" or he did not. My opinion on that does not matter one iota to whether it really happened.

I am going for the misquoted or misunderstood; kudos for acknowledging that possibility.

Actually if the only way and place that the truth and reality can be known to exist and occur is in and with a believing mind, then a believing mind is the only way and place that the truth and reality can be incarnated. This is what Christ meant when he said "I am the way, the truth and life", because no man can come to the knowledge of God if not by a believing mind and incarnating the truth itself. It is only a believing mind that is capable to embodying the truth and reality itself.
