You were plainly told by Jesus the following in Matthew 23You were plainly told Jesus judgment upon Jerusalem was temporal
Are you going to claim the pharisees had no opportunity for repentance and were assigned to hell irremediably
where is your evidence for that ?
Certainly Jesus was warning them of their condition but their eternal destiny was not established
In any case all you are doing is trying to cause scripture to contradict scripture
You are not addressing
John 12:47 (KJV)
47 And if any man hear my words, and believe not, I judge him not: for I came not to judge the world, but to save the world.
Jesus in John 12:47 is speaking of eternal judgment on the last day
You are mixing oranges and apples
you speak of context but you have ignored the different contexts
btw your comment is false I refused to answer nothing
I addressed Mat 23 and the temporal destruction of Jerusalem
and I addressed the condition of the pharisees
So you have not I have not shown my cistern is full of holes and cannot hold the water.
or that my doctrine is full of leaks on this topic
And I have not run from Mat 23 but you have not touched John 12:47
and the only assumptrion here is your assumption Jesus in matthew somehow contradicts what he stated in John 12:47
Matt 23:33
33 "You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell?
And just so we are clear what Jesus means by hell- its everlasting/eternal, never ending judgment/condemnation with pain and suffering.
Mark 9:42-48
42 "And if anyone causes one of these little ones who believe in me to sin, it would be better for him to be thrown into the sea with a large millstone tied around his neck. 43 If your hand causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life maimed than with two hands to go into hell, where the fire never goes out. 45 And if your foot causes you to sin, cut it off. It is better for you to enter life crippled than to have two feet and be thrown into hell. 47 And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out. It is better for you to enter the kingdom of God with one eye than to have two eyes and be thrown into hell, 48 where
"'their worm does not die,
and the fire is not quenched.'
Matthew 25:46
"These will go away into eternal punishment,
