The preceding verse defines the form of address: prayer to the Father "in my name" is so that the Father may be glorified in the Son.'Ask me' is in reference to Jesus.
So if you use the wrong form of address, the Father isn't glorified. That's your whole issue: you're not glorifying the Father. If you don't glorify the Father, then Christ won't glorify you (Matt 7:21).
Trinitarians don't grasp the imperative to glorify the Father.
