John 3:16

If we profess Christ here is some information you should know. John 3:16-18 should be translated as follows.
For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that everyone believing INTO Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God did not send His Son into the world that He might judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. The one believing INTO Him is not condemned; but the one not believing has already been condemned, for he has not believed INTO the name of the only begotten Son of God.
(Joh 3:16-18 LITV)

In respect to the Greek word εἰς translated INTO in the above text here is an excerpt From the BDAG lexicon which is basically a dictionary.

εἰς prep. w. acc. (Hom.+; s. the lit. under ἀνά, beg., also ATheimer, Die Präp. εἰς, ἐν, ἐκ im NT: Progr. z. 24. u. 29. Jahresbericht des niederösterr. Landes- Real- u. Obergymnasiums Horn 1896; 1901; AOepke, TW II 418–32), indicating motion into a thing or into its immediate vicinity or relation to something.

1 extension involving a goal or place, into, in, toward, to...

Though εἰς can be translated "in" it shouldn't be because contextually INTO fits with the rest of the Gospel, For He is the vine and we are the branches. Without Him we can do nothing. Jo 15:5

The prayer of a righteous man availeth much. So it is written...

Neither pray I for these alone, but for them also which shall believe on me through their word; That they all may be one; as thou, Father, art in me, and I in thee, that they also may be one in us: that the world may believe that thou hast sent me. And the glory which thou gavest me I have given them; that they may be one, even as we are one: I in them, and thou in me, that they may be made perfect in one; and that the world may know that thou hast sent me, and hast loved them, as thou hast loved me.

Not many believe God sent Jesus to show them the way for God to be in them as He was in Jesus. They have made Jesus a god in place of the One who did send him.

Phillippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be
equal with God:
2:7 But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the
form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men:
2:8 And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and
became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross.

10:5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith,
Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou
prepared me

2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the
angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and
honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for
every man.

1 Corinthians 15: 45 And so it is written, The first man Adam was made a living
soul; the last Adam [was made] a quickening spirit.
15:46 Howbeit that [was] not first which is spiritual, but that
which is natural; and afterward that which is spiritual.
15:47 The first man [is] of the earth, earthy: the second man
[is] the Lord from heaven
48 As is the earthy. such are they also are they that are earthy
and as [is] the heavenly, such [are] they also that are heavenly.
15:49 And as we have borne the image of the earthy, we shall
also bear the image of the heavenly
.
I hope these texts settle some of the questions that have been raised.

John 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but

Exactly that is what I said, not many believe that God came to Jesus by His Spirit and spend all of His ways to him and sent him to show us that same way to have in ourselves the same.
Phillippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:

Everyone who has from God that what Jesus had from Him are equal with Him, He in me and I in. Him are one, John 17, and when you see Him as He is ye shall be like Him as well. 1 John 3.
10:5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith,
Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou
prepared me
Yes man is the temple of God.
2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the
angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and
honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for
every man.
Amen and the pattern for us all nofollow.

And Gary, Do you recognize this Lord Jesus Christ?
Absolutely by identification with him for we have the same father who is a Spirit and is God.
He is not the one you are following!
You mean not the one you are following.
He was raised from the dead, ascended back into heaven and now sits on the throne of, God,His Father
All of us who has from the Father that what Jesus had from Him sit with Him in His throne. Rev 3:21.

Me to -- for the first man Adam was of flesh, the second man Adam was of Spirit and became like God to know this difference Gen 3:22, Jesus received that same information in Matt 3:167, he was flesh first then came to know Gods Spirit by God Himself just as Adam did. you can read it.

And we all who has received from God become that quickening Spirit to become like Him instead of of that flesh man that is always first, made of a woman born under the law just as Jesus And Adam Abraham, Moses 120, all did, then born of Gods Spirit. Jesus referred to this renewing for information as born again.

Yes Christ is Gods anointed and either you are of Christ and anointed of God or you are not. Christ in you is Gods anointing in you.
Christ is that spark of God that present in every human, human can call upon it or ignore it remaining spiritually dead.
"And he divided his property between them. 13Not many days later, the younger son gathered all he had and took a journey into a far country, and there he squandered his property in reckless living. 14And when he had spent everything,"

John 6:38 For I came down from heaven, not to do mine own will, but
the will of him that sent me

Every son of God is begotten of God above, and as such, every son originates in heaven becauses every born of God son originates with his Father who is in heaven.

Phillippians 2:5 Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus:
2:6 Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be

Paul is explaining to Philippians that they should behave like Christ, a man who did not suppose he could grab equality with God for himself but he rather denied himself completely and obeyed God unto death.

And?

10:5 Wherefore when he cometh into the world, he saith,
Sacrifice and offering thou wouldest not, but a body hast thou
prepared me

Let me guess. You see "into the world" and you imagine a pre-incarnate Jesus floating down to planet earth.

Well?

2:9 But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the
angels for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and
honour; that he by the grace of God should taste death for
every man.

The Hebrews writer is here quoting Psalm 8 which is referring to the creation of man. God raised a man from the dead and subjected all creation to him. It's all in your Bible there.
