The overwhelming majority of rural areas voted against Newsom. That should tell you something.

Federal and state overreach has always been a problem.

I remember as a child watching a film where scientists had rats tightly packed in cages, and the rats became self destructive. This is playing out in recent elections.

That rural conservative voters are a minority in California?

Are you suggesting that rural voters should have oversized influence in CA politics? They already have oversized influence in the Electoral College and in the Senate.

They are idiots.
Yes, Republicans are idiots for pushing this recall, for having Elder as their top candidate, and for emphasizing issues that were sure to alienate voters. Along with ridiculous pre-emptive claims of voter fraud.

See what I mean? I love when you make my point for me vibise.

Your side lost in a landslide. Is that the point you wanted to emphasize?
Not to all and the question makes it clear that you are nothing more than what Thomas Sowell calls a first level thinker. Its why you're a leftist. You can't see past your own nose. I'm not sure how you get through a day without seriously injuring yourself.

No. They should have their own state.

What is happening now is the very reason we have state boundaries. California "city" politics has left rural California needing their own system.

They are too different to live under the same people in government.

No matter how you look at it... .a government is only as good as who is in office. We will never agree on who that will be. Thus, we need more boundaries. I don't have to live like you. You don't have to live like me.

Ah but that's just it...the left wants you to live like them. I am old enough to remember when old school liberals would say things like, "If you dont like it don't look" or dont watch it don't listen. The message now that leftists have pushed liberals out of the democrat party is "You will do it our way or not at all". This is evidenced by the response of leftists to hydroxychloroquine and ivermectin. Why does it matter to them how a doctor and their patient decide to treat a medical condition? Now the vaccine mandates are essentially you will do it our way or no way at all and if you don't you will be punished. The left is evil.

Well, go ahead and enlighten me. What are the second level points to be learned from this recall election that was such a disaster for the GOP?

How about the liberals in Austin, Houston and Dallas? Should they have their own state? As cities tend to be the centers of innovation and economic growth, how would this pan out if Texas and California were divided?

And while we are at it, how about combining N and S Dakota and Carolina into 2 states instead of 4?

Or the Confederate states could just secede and form their own country and try to make it on their own without Blue State subsidies.

So you advocated liberal enclaves to be their on States while reducing the representation of conservative areas a gerrymandering you can love.

Oh, please. Who is it trying to push their anti-abortion laws on the rest of us? Climate change denialism? Teaching of creationism? Voter suppression laws?

When a pandemic that affects all of us needs to be controlled, science-based medicine is the way to go. Not something pushed by the MyPillow guy.

Its a greater disaster for the poor people of California who have to live under that imbecilic tyrant very much like the one the left put into the WH. Its amazing how heroin addicts are so appreciative of their next fix but blissfully ignorant of the long term damage they are doing to themselves. When they finally wake up it's too late. California is a **** hole and there are innocent people there who will be made to suffer so people like you can advance a destructive ideology

So you recognize that conservative rural areas contain a real minority of people that should only have representation based on their population numbers. Step in the right direction.

We all suffer when fools refuse to do the simple things that would bring this pandemic under control.

So you advocate tyranny of the majority. Got it.
