Lifting the Veil

How is it that so many people who study Bible prophecy cannot see the forthcoming fire judgement? The forthcoming Lord’s Day, when He will send His fiery wrath upon His enemies. The forthcoming Day the Lord will send His fiery wrath, a disaster of similar magnitude as Noah’s Flood.

It must be attributed to Scriptures that say it will only be possible to know God’s plans just prior to the end time events. 1 Also many are sticking to incorrect ideas, such as a pre Tribulation ‘rapture’ and a nuclear war and they misplace or ignore prophetic verses. 2

Over one hundred scriptures tell of a terrible Day of fire and earthquakes, that will affect all of the world – vivid details of a tremendous destruction that cannot be matched with the war of Gog and Magog or the Return of Jesus.3 Prophesy tells plainly how the Middle East countries and cities will be destroyed, 4 and that God will turn the weapons of those commencing to attack the State of Israel upon their own heads. 5

The nature and extent of this fire judgement rules out any man made explanation. It is clearly stated that the Lord Himself will instigate His Day of vengeance and wrath upon all the inhabitants of the earth. 6

The verses in Isaiah 30:26...the sun will shine with seven times its normal strength... and Malachi 4:1 The Day comes, burning like a furnace, are the ones that tell us exactly what means the Lord will use to carry it out. There has, in the past been sunspot activity that has seriously affected the earth, but a really large Coronal Mass Ejection will cause all the prophesied devastation and deaths worldwide. 7 This terrifying and shocking disaster of a fireball that envelopes the earth, will hit suddenly and unexpectedly, killing anyone caught outside. 8 Millions will die from the initial strike and millions more from the fighting and famine afterwards. 9

To re-establish law and order, a One World government will be agreed to, with the world divided into ten regions, each headed by its own president. 10 In Israel, the Messianic Jewish remnant who survive by hiding underground, 11 will be joined by their Christian brethren 12

God knows who they are and He will motivate them to emigrate to the new nation of Beulah, to all of that area promised to the Patriarchs. 13 They will experience the great blessings that God has promised to His righteous faithful Christian people and they will fulfill their destiny. 14

In a few years, a world dictator will come to power and will eventually take control of Beulah and he will desecrate the new Temple. This starts the Great Tribulation, then 3½ years later Jesus returns to commence His Millennium reign. 15

Just when do we get to truly understand the prophetic Scriptures? It cannot be that God will say to us after the end times have all happened, “Ha Ha, you dummies, for all your philosophy, sciences and religious studies, you couldn’t figure out what I gave you in your Bible.”

No, God will lift the veil from the minds of the few who earnestly seek the truth, those who put aside preconceived notions and renounce erroneous teachings. 16

1 Thessalonians 5:4 You, friends, are not in the dark...
1 Corinthians 13:22b....prophecy is for believers.

The Lord will enlighten us if we search the Word, in humility and with the right motives.17 And put aside all theories and fables taught by well intentioned, but wrong; pastors and teachers. 18

Habakkuk 1:5 Look around you among the nations, see there a sight that will utterly astound you, you will not believe it when you are told of what is being done in your days.

Habakkuk 1:6-11 goes on to say how the Babylonians were appointed to execute judgement against the House of Judah, but the preceding verses in Habakkuk 1:1-4 are a general indictment onto peoples and nations whose ‘laws are ineffective and where justice is overruled’. Therefore this threat of action by the Lord applies to our times, as well.

Acts 13:40-41 Beware, then lest you bring down upon yourselves the doom proclaimed by the prophets. Look, you who fail to grasp the truth, be surprised and perish. I am doing a work in your days, something that you will not believe, even though it has been pointed out to you.

Pauls quote of Habakkuk 1:8, the parallel passage from the New Testament, has nothing to do with Jesus, His message of Salvation is not ‘doom’.
It applies to the end times: ‘your days’, not his days, but our days.

The ‘Doom proclaimed by the prophets’, will be the great and terrible Day of the Lord’s vengeance and wrath. All the prophets and Jesus make it clear that this ‘Day of doom’, is the next prophesied event that we can expect to happen. Jesus quoted the first and half of the second verse of Isaiah 61:1-2, at the commencement of His ministry. The worldwide Day of vengeance of our God’, is the next prophesied event, still not yet happened. It will be the Sixth Seal; a worldwide disaster of similar magnitude as what happened in the days of Noah, which commences all the prophesied end times events, leading up to the glorious Return of Jesus.

More than 100 prophecies throughout the Bible describe in vivid detail this forthcoming punishment onto the whole world by devastating fire, earthquakes, storms and tsunamis. This sudden and shocking event will take most people unawares and we are told by Paul, that those who are ‘surprised’; that is unaware and unprepared, then: they may perish.. Ezekiel 21:3-4

Isaiah 30:26 tells us what it is that causes this worldwide devastation and also that it will be ‘the Day the Lord saves His people’. who are all faithful Christians, who truly believe in Jesus and a few Messianic Jews who are protected in Jerusalem. Isaiah 29:4

Therefore it is up to us to take heed of the warnings, Isaiah 24:1, Isaiah 26:20-21 and to be prepared for all the effects of a massive explosion on the suns surface, that will kill about 1/3 of the world’s population and will destroy all of our modern infrastructure. Jeremiah 9:22, Ezekiel 30:1-8, Isaiah 13:12

Then; for all who love the Lord and keep His Commandments, the Lord is ‘waiting to show His favour’, Isaiah 30:18-20

How is it that when the Day of the LORD begins, the land of Israel will be like the Garden of Eden?

Joel 2:
1 Blow a trumpet in Zion, and sound an alarm on My holy mountain! Let all the inhabitants of the land tremble. For the day of the Lord is coming; Surely it is near,
2 A day of darkness and gloom. A day of clouds and thick darkness. As the dawn is spread over the mountains,
So there is a great and mighty people; There has never been anything like it, nor will there be again after it
To the years of many generations.
3 A fire consumes before them and behind them a flame burns. The land is like the garden of Eden before them but a desolate wilderness behind them, and nothing at all escapes them.

Israel will not become like the Garden of Eden until the beginning of the Millennial Kingdom (Ezekiel 36:33-36).

If you have ever been to Israel or flown over it, you would see how the Israeli's have transformed their country. Their border marks the change from brown desert to green, productive land.
But as Joel 2:3, and Joel 1:15-20 says; it will be all burned off on the Day the Lord sends His fiery wrath. Amos 2:4-5, Ezekiel 21:1-7

THEN the Lord will send rain and all the holy land will become garden Land. Joel 2:21-24, Isaiah 29:17, Jeremiah 33:12-13, Isaiah 35:1-10

My wife and I spent 3 weeks touring Egypt, Jordan, and Israel in March of 2007. Israel most certainly is NOT like the Garden of Eden! Genesis 3 explains why it is impossible for men to create anything remotely like the Garden of Eden, also known in Scripture as the Garden of God.

Genesis 3:17-19
17
Then to Adam He said, “Because you have listened to the voice of your wife, and have eaten from the tree about which I commanded you, saying, ‘You shall not eat from it’:
Cursed is the ground because of you; With hard labor you shall eat from it all the days of your life.
18 Both thorns and thistles it shall grow for you; Yet you shall eat the plants of the field;
19 By the sweat of your face you shall eat bread, until you return to the ground, Because from it you were taken; For you are dust, and to dust you shall return.”

You conveniently chose to ignore the passage in Ezekiel that I referenced. Your eschatology is filled with false presuppositions and faulty interpretations which I have no interest whatsoever in debating nor do I have any interest in a response.

Airline pilots and crew often comment on the difference between Israel and the surrounding countries.
I know that Israel has deserts and barren places too, but the Israelis have achieved wonders with their irrigation systems and hard work.
Israel will not become like the Garden of Eden until the beginning of the Millennial Kingdom (Ezekiel 36:33-36).
How come, then it is only after the Land is regenerated and the house's rebuilt, that the people will then know that I am the Lord their God. Ezekiel 36:36

You have a closed mind. The truths of God's plans for our future are hidden from you. Matthew 11:25

ISRAEL WILL FLOURISH AND BLOSSOM AGAIN:

Hosea 12:6 Turn back, with God’s help; maintain loyalty and justice, wait constantly for your God.

Hosea 10:12 Sow justice and reap loyalty, break up your fallow ground. It is time to seek the Lord, until He comes and rains justice on you.

Hosea 12:9 I have been the Lord your God since your days in Egypt. I shall make you live in tents again, as in the days of the Tent of Meeting.

Hosea 11:9 How can I hand you over, Ephraim? How can I surrender you, Israel? How can I make you like a vanished people? A change of heart moves Me, tenderness kindles within Me.

Hosea 14:1=9 Return, Israel to the Lord your God, your sins have been your downfall. Confess to the Lord, ask His forgiveness. We will offer to You the fruit of our labor.

Other nations cannot save us, we will never again rely on what our hand has made. For in You the fatherless find mercy.

I will heal My peoples apostasy and will love them freely, for My anger has turned away them.

I will be like the dew to Israel, that they may flower and grow in splendour like an olive or cedar tree.

Israel will again live in My shadow, they will flourish and blossom like a fruitful vine.

What further dealings has Ephraim with idols? I declare and affirm that I am the tree that shelters you, Your prosperity comes from Me.

Let the wise consider these things – let the discerning understand them

The ways of the Lord are straight and the righteous walk in them, but the rebellious will stumble.

Scriptures from the Revised English Bible. Some verses abridged.

This Prophecy is for the House of Israel, the 10 Northern tribes, led by Ephraim; NOT the House of Judah, the 2 tribes of Judah and Benjamin.

True Israel are now the Christian peoples and the Jewish State of Israel, faces Judgment and punishment in the soon to happen terrible Day of the Lord’s fiery wrath.

I didn't pick a very good example of how the Lord won't be actually present with His people at that time. BEFORE Jesus Returns.
Try these:
Ezekiel 28:24, Ezekiel 28:26, Ezekiel 29:21, Ezekiel 34:27, Ezekiel 34:30, Ezekiel 36:11, Ezekiel 37:6, Ezekiel 37:14, Ezekiel 38:23,
Ezekiel 39:28 My people will know that I am the Lord their God,.... when I bring them together in their homeland. leaving none of them behind.
