Minds are for believing.

You're both running in circles. Evidence is just more of what you believe to be true, so it isn't belief in reality that you are challenging, rather it is your unbelief of the truth and reality, because it is only belief that occurs in reality since unbelief is just a lack of something (belief) that can occur in reality. Unbelief possesses no ontological or epistemological basis, because in unbelief there is no object of belief which is required in order to be known to exist or occur in reality. Understand?
No. This is gibberish. Belief happens on a mind. Evidence is objective, independent of the mind perceiving the it. Evidence may fit with your belief, or me contradict it. It isn't just more of what you believe to be true. It is an indicator of what is true, whether you believe it or not.

Projection.

Actually belief can only occur in and by a believing mind. And if "evidence" is just something you believe to be true regarding an object or person, then "evidence" is just beliefs you have regarding that object or person.

And if you believe the "evidence" already, then how can "evidence" contradict itself?

It isn't just more of what you believe to be true. It is an indicator of what is true, whether you believe it or not.

If that is true, then name some "evidence" that you presently disbelieve to be true?

You seem to be denying that it is belief that makes the truth and reality known to us, because until we accept something to be true (belief/evidence), then it isn't known to be true to us in reality. So, our knowledge of the truth does in fact depend on believing it or not in reality.

Knowledge of the truth requires:
Belief that the concept is true.
That the concept actually is true, irrespective of whether or not it is believed.

If it is true, but no-one believes it, there's no knowledge of the truth. If everyone believes it, but it isn't true, there's no knowledge of the truth. It's quite simple.

If belief is necessary in order to make the truth known to you and you refuse to believe it but choose unbelief, then the truth and reality isn't knowable to you, because in reality knowledge of the truth require belief. And unbelief is incapable of making the truth and reality known to you, because unbelief doesn't denote a occurrence in reality; but is nothing more than a nonoccurrence.

And? If what you believe is untrue, then you believe a lie.

And? If what you believe is untrue, then you believe a lie.

You are conflating belief and unbelief by pretending that a "false belief" is a belief in reality, because it is only beliefs that occur in reality and not unbelief. Unbelief doesn't denote anything that occurs in reality, rather it is just a nonoccurrence or a lack something that can be known to occur in reality. And that something that can only be known to occur in reality are beliefs.

Belief is a gift of God that enlightens a believing mind of His truth and reality.

How do you tell if a particular belief you have is a false one or a true one?

Actually if it is only beliefs that can occur in reality, then it is ONLY beliefs that occur in reality. And the rest are just conflations of beliefs and unbelief of reality. If "a false one" cannot be known to be true in reality, then all beliefs must be true in reality.

I ask again, because this isn't an answer, how do you tell if what you believe is reality, actually is reality? Are you suggesting that your false beliefs disappear? Or that they come with a little flag attached, or what? You believe something. Fine. Now how do you tell that what you believe is not a mistaken belief? What process do you go through?

You are unwilling to deal with the truth and reality. If belief is necessary and must occur in reality before the truth is known to you, then it must be belief that makes the truth and reality known. So, the process is belief. And belief is a gift of God.

So anything you believe is automatically true? Are you seriously trying to tell me that believing something makes it true? This is taking manifestation to a new level.

Strawman. Actually if we can only believe something to be true in reality, then everything that isn't true or a "false belief" must be a unbelief of reality, because it is only beliefs that are capable of making the truth and reality known to us. Why don't you deal with the truth that is being said to you instead of strawmanning?

Only when Tercon does it.

Strawman. No, rather in reality belief is necessary in order to make the truth known to us 100% of the time without exception.

In Tercon's view, everything Tercon believes is necessarily true.

Another strawman. No, but it is true that everything God believes is necessarily true, because it is His believing mind that is the origin of the truth and reality.

Ok, I believe that in order to know the truth, I must believe it. Let's park that idea as agreed.

Now, how do I tell that what I believe is a true belief, or what you are pleased to call an unbelief? To the believer, whoever they may be, belief in the truth and belief in an untruth, will look the same. Both are believed. Both look like the truth. How can we tell the difference?

So, you are agreeing that belief must occur before the truth is known to you in reality?
It's part of what must occur, of course. Now we need to address the other part, that what is believed is actually true. Do you agree that some people (not you obviously) believe things erroneously. Some people believe that the earth is flat, for example. They are sincere in their belief, bless them. They really, really think that it is true. Do you accept that this is the case?
