Still not able to describe what humility is.
Let me know when you get it worked out.
I've defined humility for you before. You've yet to show that you have any.

Why can't you just be honest and admit your mistake? Things are only going to get worse for you if you keep digging your heels in to defend your ego.

You're going to have to show me.
I'm not defending anything here.
I apologized as I saw the issue.
Since you've now called me pathological, it's pretty clear it's you who are lacking humility, and need to defend your ego.

Well, there you have it. Biased worldviews which reject previously accepted history.
What was this previous consensus on historiography?

And once again who were the "old timers" that you have previously mentioned?
Perhaps. I don't know, as I wasn't there. Nor, I'm guessing were you.
You need to read up on the history of your religion.
The irony is that God used a pagan emperor around 5 BCE to achieve the goal of getting Jesus' parents to Bethlehem,
In 5 BCE Herod the Great was king of Judaea. Augustus had nothing to do with the internal affairs of Herod's kingdom.
Ironic. Theology is simply the study of God.
Incorrect. Theology is a discipline that studies the nature of the divine and which more broadly looks at religious beliefs across all theistic religions.

More importantly, why aren't you taking the time to do your own research, investigation, reading, learning, applying, testing, etc.... to actually find out?

We who follow Jesus don't "trust" anything because someone tells us to! that you think otherwise speaks more to your lack of understanding that it does the word, and idea of trust.
We who follow Jesus Trust because we've taken the time to do what God has said--- read, learn, apply, test, etc...--- and have found that God is real. Not because we think so, but because he's demonstrated himself to us, as real, and knowable.

So..... why on earth would you not take the time to read, learning, apply, test, etc.....?
I think you'll find that the majority of Christians do just that.
I followed the same 'instructions' you did and I Did not find that God is real.

No, you did not. You've yet to apologize, or even admit you made a mistake.

Your BS has been documented for posterity here.
I have found that in general most Christians are good, honest, and humble. However, there are a few that are so deeply dishonest that they don't really behave in a way you would expect of a follower of Jesus.

These "pretend" Christians are just using the religion as a cover. They use the religion, and the goodwill people grant Christians as a way of claiming moral superiority. They then lie and cheat, and attempt to get away with it by saying "I'm a Christian so I am good person." hoping that it give them an excuse for their behaviour.

These false Christians really are some of the most morally disgusting people. Not only are they willing to lie and cheat, they double down on their immoral behaviour by trying to use the good nature of most Christians as a cover for their behaviour.

I absolutely agree.

I would further suggest that the Secular forums at CARM act as a kind of filter for this type of Christian. I suspect many Christians of all sorts come here thinking they will convert the infidels, but when they get here they find their arguments all fail. Most quit. Those that stay are often the most pig-headed, the trolls and, well, I am going to say it, the liars.

Unwelcome assessments are rude. Worry about yourself. Nobody comes on here looking for evals from internet nobodys'. For all we know you could be some 300 lb dude in a dress, wig, and falsies living in your mother's basement sucking lollipops. (n)
