Mother Mary

Quoting scripture doesn't work. The nCCs just run away when we quote Scripture - they hide behind their interpretations and then claim scripture alone as their final authority.
stop running:
Are people justified by God apart from their works of the law and not of their works of righteousness?
IOW Are people justified by God apart from any of their works?

The Catholic Church has no made-up man made doctrines.

Oh, it has plenty, not found anywhere in the Bible.
The Holy Spirit has guided the Catholic church now for around 2,000 years.
So....the HS guided your church to pick Alex VI pope? One of the infamous Borgias? And Leo X? And the present Francis? And to issue Indulgences that paid for St. Peter's Basilica in Rome, if I remember right...that Holy Spirit?

That is a rather nasty thing to accuse the great HS of doing!

can you follow the logic argument that is being made over the course of several paragraphs or chapters?
: or does everything need to fit on a bumper sticker?
After being here for over 10 years I find that logical arguments don't work and that bumper sticker quotes work better.

But the Holy Spirit guided Luther. Who was the leader of your church before Luther?

One of the main problem with your argument is that there is no other church that has a history dating back to Jesus and the apostles except the Catholic church.

We are all sinners.

Yes, quoting scripture to nCCs doesn’t work to good.
not for catholics - they don't understand the verses they 'quote'. they just yank one out of context and claim it supports their false belief. they use those verses because the rcc lists them in the rcc. the rcc doesn't understand them either, or they do and list them on purpose in order to keep catholics in bondage to it.

catholics are in bondage to the rcc and its men.

your posts show your bondage to it - not to Christ.

...or they ignore the pesky passages they don't like.
Who is the ultimate authority then?
Well not your institution that is for sure. Jesus would never have evil leaders with the ultimate authority and you ignore the scriptures that are clear on that very point. It is clear it is only the bad tree that produces bad fruit. Your institution has an over abundance of bad fruit throughout the centuries. This point is conveniently sweep under the carpet by RCs, in their attempts to cover up and justify the evil fruit.

Oh no we face scripture head on and are not afraid to question the false interpretations of RCs who just blatantly ignore words they do not like for example, or phrase they don't like and do not answer very simple questions. It explains why some seem double minded and straggling two opposing views on the same thing. It explains why they cannot explain what does NOT BY WORKS really mean? What else is needed for salvation? Why they can provide no evidence at all in defence of their prayers to Mary. They hide and then pretend to understand scriptures but hide behind the false interpretations of their so called LOL final authority. The final authority they follow is a false claim. We know this by applying scriptural tests to it, their final authority fails those tests. For a start they teach false doctrines.
