In my socialism the bunk would have costed $15 or LESS everywhere I went, and the same goes for the propeller. Under $100 EWERYWHERE

Not even wholesale companies can by direct.

Yup. Middle men which significantly increase price of the vehicles.

Gibberish.
You have yet to demonstrate that your socialism will actually work.

Do you also believe on unicorns as well

Yes! As if they didnt own pleasure crafts in socialism or communism.:rolleyes::rolleyes:.

I bought brand new. So far the alignment is screwed, went through 6 set of tires in 2 years. The bulbs on trailer lights keep burning out, they said it was submergible and its not.( Had to change them).

The fish finder didnt work and they said they had to charge me $300 just to test drive it. I said test drive what? ,It doesn't work, so I had to send a video of the defective fish finder.

The motor doesn't properly tilt. Brought it in 1 month, they returned it? Same problem. after they said they fixed it.

Its been 2 years and they keep saying customer service will return my calls. Nada.

They will chase you down, but once they get your money they disappear. and concentrate on nagging the next guy for a sale.

So ya capitalism sucks, since in socialism, they would have better customer service because its not profit driven.
The workers will do what is barely a necessity to get by.

My boat propeller gets shipped and somehow my bunk on the trailer also breaks.

I ask around for a propeller. First price $100(out of stock), 2nd price? $180( 4 days to wait.) Dealership where I bought the boat? They have stock!! $280 + tax???? How can everyone else sell a product cheaper than the boat dealer?

I ask for a bunk. $130+ Tax !!! We went to home depot bought a 2x4 of treated wood. Carpeted it and made it for $13 !!!!!

I went to buy some stuff at a local supplier. Prices are threw the roof! I call their supplier in Europe and they said I had to go threw our supplier because they SOME HOW acquired the rights(a monopoly?)?? Isn't that illegal in a capitalist system?

Man I tell you. I am robbed daily by capitalism. Some people not even aware of how it really works. If you dont think the price at the pumps is not price gouging, you have been conditioned to be conformed to a crooked economic system.

The cost of life is criminal.......Legalized theft....
Well, my day under capitalism is reading about some dude living under capitalism bitching about living under capitalism.

Cuba has nice weather anyway, just sayin.

The boat will come in handy too, if you can sneak it past Castro.

I agree, America's capitalism allows the average person to work 40hrs a week and have a blue collared living, home, car, appliances, 15 choices of breakfast cereal on store shelves, Costco full of food and goods

In other countries its no car, house, electricity, and the only box of cereal on the shelf cost 2 days wages

It is in the best interest of companies to have good customer service, as that helps the reputation of the company, and engenders brand loyalty. So being profit driven is actually an INCENTIVE to have good customer service. What possible incentive does a socialist "company" have to provide quality customer service? The goodness of their hearts?

When inflation is so high, you will be gegging in lines. The posters on here like to laugh about Russia waiting in line for toilet paper but dont remember the great depression in the USA> Where one sign said children for sale!! OUCH!! Courtesy of capitalism!!
No not true! I'm one of those who are prepared and professionally trained in all aspects to take care of myself. Food, water, shelter, protection, medical and contingency upon contingency. Sorry to disappoint you.... Plus I'll be able to help those like minded folks... You sound like you need to better prepare yourself!

That was a big smile, so true!

Made me think of Cuba, and all the American 50's vehicles that they are keeping up with bailing wire and bubblegum
Notice it is obvious that people want to leave Cuba
They will risk their lives to leave.
They use rafts.......because Cuba has no stores that sell outboard motors?
