My ordinary life

A moment from my life.
You see the atheist in his natural habitat.
For the brief period of the length of the video.
I'm curious why you think we would believe that your entire life is exactly the same as the content of the imagery we observe in the video.

I'm curious why you think we would believe that your entire life is exactly the same as the content of the imagery we observe in the video.
And I am curious why you would imagine that I think anything so absurd.
I am listening to Thomas Tallis. Mass for four voices. I may listen to Vivaldi later. Or I may listen to Led Zeppelin.
But yes, this video does show me as I like to be. On my balcony, with tea. This is how I like to relax after work.
Of course not every day is tea on a balcony. Some days are wind over a heaving deck, trimming and easing the jib, and white knuckles gripping the tiller. The mouth of the bay, and the lake. Passing Cape Commodore and the islands, before setting course for Lion's Head.
But I do wonder what fantasys you have about me. You were rather specific about my having a whole other life. Tell me about it.

The atheist in his environment, expressing his opinions vis-a-vis land ownership.
When you artificialy inflate land prices and regulate the people to death, to better serve real estate speculators... you leave a lot of people out in the cold.

That you use the phrase,
"My ordinary life"
In the title of this OP.
I think it's safe to say that we all have pretty "ordinary" lives.
Some more so than others.
Others, slightly less so.
Who was it who said, most men lead lives of quiet desperation?
This ordinary nature of our lives does not however mean that we are innocent of sin.
Even the writer of 1 Corinthians says,
1Co 10:13 WEB No temptation has taken you except what is common to man. God is faithful, who will not allow you to be tempted above what you are able, but will with the temptation also make the way of escape, that you may be able to endure it.

And it's those "ordinary, common to man, sins" that are the issue all of us must deal with.

It's something that needs to be experienced to be more fully understood.

It's like sex, eating vanilla, or enjoying a sunrise and seeing the sunset, hearing a baby's laughter.

It's a sublime thing that occurs when the people who engage in and experience the activities.

Let's see what I can do here...

By choosing to say yes to God, we're agreeing with him and his Word.
When this takes place, the change in our hearts occurs, because God does what he said he would.
He removes the old stony heart of flesh and he puts in us a new heart of flesh and a new spirit, and then he places his own Spirit in us.
It's something of a simultaneous change.

We then start reading the bible, which is the collection of words from God. And they begin the mind renewal process.
As we read the parts that instruct us what we need to do, and we do them, we are beginning to understand, and demonstrate that good, perfect and acceptable will of God.
This further increases as we continue to do so, and as such we grow up into adulthood as men and women who believe God and continue to learn to know God and Jesus.

This is pretty much like a child being born, and growing up. But the application is spiritual, emotional, mental, psychological.

So its exactly like the life I am experiencing now.

So again, exactly like the life I am living now.
