Next? Slapping fines on the unvaccinated

Greece: A "health fee" for anyone over 60 that is not vaccinated
Austria: Restrict movement of all unvaccinated people - violation costs up to $4000
Italy : Tests required every 48 hours for unvaccinated at their expense

Meanwhile, in the United States, District Judge Terry Doughty in Monroe, Louisiana "blocked the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) from enforcing vaccine mandates among health care workers until legal challenges are resolved". Some are seeking religious exemptions as a potential loophole to prevent the enforcement of any mandatory vaccination laws. Others are simply refusing to be vaccinated altogether.

Historically:

"In 1901 a deadly smallpox epidemic tore through the Northeast, prompting the Boston and Cambridge boards of health to order the vaccination of all residents. But some refused to get the shot, claiming the vaccine order violated their personal liberties under the Constitution.

One of those holdouts, a Swedish-born pastor named Henning Jacobson, took his anti-vaccine crusade all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court. The nation's top justices issued a landmark 1905 ruling that legitimized the authority of states to “reasonably” infringe upon personal freedoms during a public health crisis by issuing a fine to those who refused vaccination."

"But while the Cambridge vaccine order was compulsory, it wasn’t a “forced” vaccination. People like Jacobson who refused to get vaccinated faced a $5 fine, the equivalent of nearly $150 today. On July 17, 1902, Dr. Spencer issued a criminal complaint against Jacobson and other anti-vaccine activists to collect that $5 fine."

As a discredited medical outsider, the mRNA is not a vaccine. What are you thinking?

Your fear merchandising drug over from Mannipulated global warming is a track record of fail.

The Clot Shot DOES NOT protect from infection
The Clot shot doesn't prevent shedding and spreading.
Lastly your math limitations do not deal with the stats which show where the cases are rising and people have the highest percentage "supposedly vaccinated"

Small pox killed 1/3 of the infected across
groups from young to old. This pathogen hits the young and healthy with mild to no symptoms.

We know your agenda.

Do you oppose religious exemptions? Does your left wing bias grant legislative authority to fauchee et al, The CDC and the Administration?

I understand that one of the airlines is charging unvaccinated employees an extra $200/month for healthcare insurance. Seems to me that is an appropriate path to take. If smokers can be charged extra, why not the unvaccinated?

What religion opposes vaccination?
I think religious exemptions from vaccination are bogus and should be disallowed.

Some are claiming this exemption based on the fact that some of these vaccines have been tested on 293T cells, which were derived from an aborted fetus, but these cells are used on a long list of widely used medications including tylenol, preparation H, etc., and these people take those drugs without objection.

Irrelevant response

Your fear merchandising drug over from Mannipulated global warming is a track record of fail.

The topic of this thread is the potential for fining the unvaccinated. - another irrelevant response

The Clot Shot DOES NOT protect from infection
The Clot shot doesn't prevent shedding and spreading.
Lastly your math limitations do not deal with the stats which show where the cases are rising and people have the highest percentage "supposedly vaccinated"

...and ^these^ statements contribute zero conversation points to the topic of fining unvaccinated people.

Small pox killed 1/3 of the infected across
groups from young to old. This pathogen hits the young and healthy with mild to no symptoms.

Were the children fined?

We know your agenda.

Actually, these continual accusations only diminish conversation credibility. Paranoid "agenda" imagination doesn't provide realistic debate.

Do you oppose religious exemptions? Does your left wing bias grant legislative authority to fauchee et al, The CDC and the Administration?

How are the responses provided ^above^ relevant to the potential of fines?

- Religious exemptions are welcome with responsible behavior. I am politically north and right of center on many political positions with a few exceptions.

You pretend to know me. ( I know that you don't. )

I think religious exemptions from vaccination are bogus and should be disallowed.

I think that "Christians Science" members, as well as Amish and a number of other religious institutions, might legitimately invoke said religious exemptions.

In a truly free country, I have reason to believe that exemptions should be allowed with a reasonable expectation of appropriate behavior to protect others. Christian-like organizations should understand what loving your neighbor means.

Indeed. There are alternative vaccinations too.

From the Christian Science statement on vaccination:
Concern for public health and safety is something that all responsible people share—including Christian Scientists. Grateful as we are to live in communities where honest differences can be respected, Christian Scientists are also mindful of the obligations all citizens have to respect the rights of others in their communities.

For more than a century, our denomination has counseled respect for public health authorities and conscientious obedience to the laws of the land, including those requiring vaccination. Christian Scientists report suspected communicable disease, obey quarantines, and strive to cooperate with measures considered necessary by public health officials. We see this as a matter of basic Golden Rule ethics and New Testament love.
They go on to say that the decision to vaccinate or not is not something imposed by their church.

" The airline calculated that the average medical cost associated with a hospital stay for Covid-19 cost the company $50,000 per person."

Well, they are protecting their bottom line and reducing the potential for spread simultaneously.

Why would they do that considering it is the vaxxed that catches covid and spreads it.

And they note that this surcharge has induced many of their unvaccinated employees to get the shots. So when employees are faced with costs, they abandon their opposition to vaccination.

Many fewer vaxxed people end up sick enough to be hospitalized, and hospitalization for this disease is, as pointed out above, very expensive for the company.

Why do they not charge the vaxxed who are getting sick with covid?

So you've been told but have no scientific data to back it up.

Loving your neighbor is giving them accurate information on vaccination.
The accurate info is that the spike proteins your body makes is spread through out your body and effects many body organs and can also cause strokes and heart attacks.
