Obedience to Jesus

What do any of you do because Jesus commands you to? I'm looking for something you don't want to do but do nevertheless because Jesus is your Lord--something that is a true sacrifice on your part.

Repent from my ways and receive from God His ways in atonement.

Giving up the right to myself in my ways and putting on Gods mind, Spirit, Christ in me to be anointed of God in His ways Christ = Gods anointed and either one is of Christ and anointed of God or one is not and in your own ways instead of being perfect even as your Father in heaven is perfect as Jesus was in Him, anointed of God as well as all; are who God is manifest Himself in us.

You'll need to he more specific. Have you given up any wealth for Jesus, for example?

12“This is my commandment, that you love one another as I have loved you. "
From Strong's:
"Usage: I love, wish well to, take pleasure in, long for; denotes the love of reason, esteem."

Your question seems to suggest that we do what we decide what we shall do by our own design and that would amount to a true sacrifice. Not so. And that's what the characters at Matthew 7:22 will discover on that Day.

We are called to offer up ourselves to Him to do whatever HE wants with us. We don't decide what any of those spiritual sacrifices shall be. He does. We only obey what HE decides. This body of flesh is not to walk by our own mind but the mind of Christ.

Until you respond with a straight answer, then I will conclude that you don't obey Jesus.

My question clearly suggests nothing of the kind.

Let's hope that you repent of any disobedience to Jesus so that you are not among them.

What was wrong doing any of these things?

Many will say to Me on that day, ‘Lord, Lord, did we not prophesy in Your name, and in cast out demons in Your name, and do many miracles in Your name?’

So what do you do that Jesus decides you should do? Until you respond with a straight answer, then I will conclude that you don't obey Jesus.

I'm not surprised that you would do this sort of thing.

That's a great question. Sometimes I don't want to love others, because either they deny my Lord, God and Savior and mock Him which can anger me, or the old man raises his head and I become the man who, when I didn't like you I made it known. That is sometimes a struggle but God is patient and puts people in my path that I know I am commanded to love and when I submit my will to His, that love comes quite easily.

If he is truly in you that's the only important thing. Galatians 2:20. And at John 15:1-10, Jesus explains to his disciples how to REMAIN in him. Because if we do not remain him, he is not in us.
"But we have the mind of Christ"
My mind must decrease mind of Christ grow...

That will only happen if you totally surrender to him and forgot about what you want and do what he wants. If he truly dwells in you, he'll let you know. Those are who led by the Spirit of God, these are the children of God.

Everything, I had to give up my whole life to gain His. In that I am a new creature of God. Jesus gave up everything he owned as well when he received from God His same mind in Matt 3:16. It caused him his life as well. And that life he lost was not the same one he lost in Matt 3:16, that one was spirit, the other one was flesh and all will return to dust someday but what remains is Spirit.

It isn't what you take with you when you die, it is what you leave behind that counts. Jesus left behind Love, and I will do the same. That is how we are remembered by those who we did love and loved me us.

If you are still hanging onto baggage in religious terms, you are like the rich young ruler who couldn't give up his ways over to God in His ways. And that is pretty obvious in most here who cant give themselves over to God as Jesus did starting in Matt 3:16.
Jesus owned nothing nor do I, it all belongs to the God of Love, and I gave my all to Him.

You cant relate to that obvious in your attempt to see it carnally materially instead of the Spirit that God is and is not material at all.

If Jesus had given up everything he owned materially he would have trod about naked wouldn't he?

Jesus called it obedience, giving up the right to what you believe in a god and to receive from God His same mind. Its ia a gift, not evolution at all.

Either you recieve His gift of His life, mind, Spirit, or you are trying on your own to evolve into a belief system intellectually instead of obedience to receive from god His gift of His life to live yourself. Intellect will not manifest God in you at all to have His same mind, so obvious in Matt 3:16 when Jesus received the mind of God. Jesus didnt learn who God is intellectually, he obeyed and receieved from God Himself just as we all do who has received His same gift as Jesus receieved in Matt 3:16.

Jesus didnt know God nor His heaven until God manifested Himself in that man. You can read it, Matt 3:16. Not many believe what the Bible says however, you seek God intellectually instead of Spiritually.

"12For to the one who has, more will be given, and he will have an abundance, but from the one who has not, even what he has will be taken away. 13This is why I speak to them in parables, because seeing they do not see, and hearing they do not hear, nor do they understand. "
