Okay, So Let's Hear the Excuses Regarding Smith's False "Translation" of the Kinderhook Plates

" Holy Scriptures, which are able to make you wise for salvation through faith which is in Christ Jesus."

Wise (knowledge) for salvation is nothing more than gaining wisdom and then acting upon that Knowledge, and then it says it will make you wise (good judgement) to act accordingly to that knowledge.... but it is in no way Salvation itself... chuckle.
We weren't talking about salvation Mr. chuckles. we were talking about personal revelation. Did you forget?

Oh my! I guess you forgot...

So Let's Hear the Excuses Regarding Smith's False "Translation" of the Kinderhook Plates

You replied (in #27) to my post regarding personal revelation. I answered it in post #32. There was no Kinderhook discussion in any of those two posts. Try to stay focused. Others have commented on that.

You made the criticism... now live with your own backpedaling...

The father of lies is the one who mixes small truths with major lies and those who are asleep easily fall prey to his meanderings... such as all of Christendom...
That is what Satan has done in Mormonism--mixed in a few truths, along with some Christian-sounding words, to make the lies peddled by your church easier to swallow. Like putting slow-acting poison in a sweet, innocuous drink.

Of course you have, it's what you do best... chuckles 🤭

OG is correct; he wasn't backpedaling. But in posts nos. 27 and 28, I think it is, you attempted to change the subject from the OP to our supposed "ridiculous" doctrines. Which is a blatant attempt to change the subject. Thank you for demonstrating that in my signature, Richard.

No one forgot, but you did drag in off topic stuff in posts nos. 27 and 28.

Smith messed up big time with the plates. They were a hoax and he fell for it.

Sad you have to use pararell language to reply.... chuckle....... hard to think for yourself?

Fact, you do belong to Churches with ridiculous doctrine.... invisible god, something out of nothing, six day creation, three in one God etc, etc, etc.

Show where JS ever said he translated them by the gift and power of God..... the fact is he never translated them by the UT but compared them to images he already had translated...

I already answered you about that in post #29…

He didn’t translate the Book of Mormon. The scribes said the words appeared in English on the rock in his hat, and didn’t disappear until they were written down correctly.

He had nothing to compare the kinderhook plates to. He didn’t speak the language, and couldn’t read the symbols.

So you agree that it was not a translation from God... thx.... you error, JS was working on the translation of the BOM symbols he had written down...

It was as much a translation from God as the Book of Mormon was. But Smith pretended to translate both of them. He got caught with the Kinderhook plates.
False, a total fabrication on your part....you can not find nor will you be able to post anything stating he translated those fake symbols by the gift and power of God , you have nothing, dead end Magdalena
