Open carry: how many guns is too many?

In states with permissive gun laws, police and prosecutors have limited tools at their disposal when a heavily armed individual sows fear or panic in public.

How should police handle these situations?
What limits should there be on carrying guns in public places?

I have been "Birched" by a John Birch Society member. He tried to convince me that everyone up to and including a teenage kid should have their own light anti-tank assault weapons.

In my opinion, the John Birch Society fell too deeply into the rabbit hole. - None other than William F. Buckley understood.

The John Birch Society wanted you to know:

"it was all a secret plot, and THEY were lying to you"

I haven't noticed any of my neighbors wearing body armor.....

Most people planning on committing a crime don't usually announce it beforehand by drawing attention to themselves like that.

Actually, repeating crossbows are far more deadly than a Beretta M9. Many people survive when shot with a 9mm. If you get hit with an arrow with a razor broadhead or a poisoned arrow. You're going to die.

You really shouldn't have a conversation about weapons. You don't know much about them at all.

I know that mass-crossbowings are a lot rarer than mass shootings, and your having to resort to poisoned arrows shows how far you've gone down the rabbit-hole.

Untrained civilians using guns when faced with a criminal can be dangerous. Like the case of the man who tried to shoot a fleeing robber, missed him, but killed a little girl sitting in a car with her father.

Driving a car is a little more complicated than shooting a gun.

No. I corrected your mistake. There have been plenty of "mass killings" relative to crossbows in human history.

Get serious, you don't want anyone to be able to defend themselves against what you desire for society. You seek power. That is what drive the antigun agenda. They seek power over everyone.
