Paradoxical Truth

What do you do with paradoxical truth? I will give you an example:

Eph 4:4 There is one body, and one Spirit, even as ye are called in one hope of your calling;
Eph 4:5 One Lord, one faith, one baptism,
Eph 4:6 One God and Father of all, who is above all, and through all, and in you all.

This is not the paradox, but it is the scripture that shows that God the Father is one!

Now, this is the paradoxical scripture:

1Co 8:6 But to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we in him; and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

Now, this scripture is not saying that there is one God and there is another something else but rather is referring to God's oneness. God is one person the Father, but God works through the Son which is God's oneness and is in a Father and Son relationship. However, is God's oneness two persons or one. Can we see Jesus as the one God who is the Father in Father and Son relationship? Are we going to separate Father and Son into two persons? If The Father and the Son are one, then what does that say about who Jesus really is?

The paradox is how we see Jesus who is God manifest in the flesh. Are we going to separate the Father from the Son and make them two?

God is one body, one Spirit and is our Father and works through all and that is the Christ in us. There is one Spirit and is Christ the Spirit or not?

We see two operations of God in personages or roles but it is the one God who is the Father but the Father has two roles which is the Father and the Son and the Son has the role of son of man. It is the son of man revealing to us the Father and the Son in a unified personal relationship which is God's oneness.

Is not Jesus the Spirit of Christ in us and are we not one in God in Christ who works through us and fills us?

In conclusion when we see a paradoxical truth, we must harmonize the scriptures.

God bless you.

The Father is not the Son. Plural pronouns are used in John 14:23.
My dear, brother how can a son be a Father who Father him? Thus, what are we looking at when we see Jesus? Yes, they are personal pronouns but what are we dealing with in this regard? God bless you. :)

No paradox here at all. It is the same situation Israel had in the days of King David.

Israel had one God, YHWH, and one Lord King David.

Exact same thing.

Intentionally confusing yourself doesn't help you.

I don't know why you continually insist upon doing that to yourself.

Thank you. No comment. God bless you. :)

Addressing the OP,
I see only one paradoxical Truth, and it is abuse by men. it is the TERM, "GOD", and his titles, especially "LORD", and "Lord" when used with GOD.
as in LORD GOD, or Lord GOD. but the LIE of men says, oh it just shows the persons. if God is "ONE" God, then Lord God is the same as LORD GOD. and if separate persons then one has two, or three GODS/

for if there is only ONE God made up of three separate and distinct persons, then it's not "one" GOD but THREE. for each is GOD? but men say, oh it's ONE SPIRIT, if so why say Spirit of Christ if it's only one Spirit? again, for if it's three persons and only one Spirit, then when one say Spirit of God, maybe one can say, yes all three. but when one say Spirit of Christ, either it's the same one Spirit for all three persons as in the Spirit of GIOD, else when one say the "Spirit" of Christ, now one has two separate and distinct Spirit. this is now no longer persons, but GODS.

for God is "a", "a", "a", Spirit meaning only ONE Spirit. the term Spirit of Christ is either for all three, else one is into polytheism.

so that's the paradoxical truth is the term. "GOD" when men use it.

as for his titles. no human where the title "Lord", not even David, who was king.
