Many professing Christians believe and teach that we will be spared the tribulation before Jesus comes back. They call it a rapture.

Does the Bible teach a rapture?

No.

1 Thess. 4:17 says they that are alive and remain shall be taken up.

Remain from what?

Remain alive from when the Lord comes to destroy all the wicked and bring us home. Please follow along.

2 Thess. 1 :7-9 Tell us When the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with His mighty angels. In flaming fire taking vengeance on them whom know not God. These shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord in the day the Lord is glorified in His saints. They as the wicked one shall be destroyed by the brightness of His coming. But prior to this day that the Lord shall be glorified in His saints, taken up. The day we shall be caught up together with them and be with the Lord forevermore. There shall be days like there never has been before. But immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun shall be darkened and the moon shall not give her light. The very powers of heaven shall shake and all the tribes of the earth shall mourn. Then as lighting cometh from the East and flashes unto the west, so shall be the coming of the Son of man be. And in that day He shall send His angels to gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven unto the other. And so shall we be with the Lord forevermore amen.

1 Thessalonians 4:16 For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:
1 Thessalonians 4:17 Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.
1 Thessalonians 4:18 Wherefore comfort one another with these words.

2 Thessalonians 1:7 And to you who are troubled rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with his mighty angels,

2 Thessalonians 1:8 In flaming fire taking vengeance on them that know not God, and that obey not the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ:
2 Thessalonians 1:9 Who shall be punished with everlasting destruction from the presence of the Lord, and from the glory of his power;
2 Thessalonians 1:10 When he shall come to be glorified in his saints, and to be admired in all them that believe (because our testimony among you was believed) in that day.

Matthew 24:29 Immediately after the tribulation of those days shall the sun be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken:
Matthew 24:30 And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming in the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.
Matthew 24:31 And he shall send his angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they shall gather together his elect from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other.

Matthew 25: 31-46 describes a judgment in which Jesus separates the sheep from the goats. If the rapture had taken place just before this, the separation would already have been accomplished. This judgment proves that some time had elapsed between the rapture and the return of Jesus to earth during which some had become believers. If you want to know what the Bible says about the future I recommend this site:

When one is born again to have the mind of God he will see the trials and tribulations Jesus faced in his trials and tribulations for the very same reason Jesus faced by the religious folk who see the way of God as a threat to their religious beliefs.

Even in this very forum when one gives testimony of God coming to them and opening up all of His heaven to us as He did in Jesus where we actually speak the things of God as Jesus did to be like our Father God, these religious minds treat us the very same way Jesus was treated. Thank God the laws has changed that we may not be persecuted for being of God as Jesus was of God and perfect even as our Father in heaven is perfect.

In that born again mind to think in Gods terms we have been taken out of this world, we are no longer of it. We live in it but we are not of it for we are of Spirit instead of the carnality from a carnal mind that does not know God but only knows the laws developed in His absence to regulate a belief for a God just as our denominations do this day and they all have different laws to govern their beliefs.

Rapture? All has been taken out of this world who are of Christ and Gods anointed ones. If you are still of this world and not of Gods heaven as Jesus was of Gods heaven, then there is no way one can relate to being like Him at all as God demands of you.

The kingdom of God doesnt come Wirth observation as in some rapture LOL, the kingdom of God is within you Luke 17:20-21, but the religious minds cannot see themselves being as the Father is as He sent an example for us to follow and be like Him as His example was like Him.

But when one does see Him as He is ye shall be like Him. 1 John 3, and in that we have been raptured out from this world and has become like Him instead.

The religious folk cannot grasp Jesus concept of be like the Father of it as he was like the Father of it. And Jesus was taken out of this world in Matt 3:16 and became like God to know this difference.

yes rapture is true... and is very soon..

the rapture and the Change are the same thing,
but the darby version was wrong..
missing that many more than just the 144k will be raptured when Christ comes upon the clouds...
the 144k will have their Change first, and with Christ then return during tribulation
when He will bring many more believers to Him who
will have also their Change (receive their imperishable resurrection body,
which is not a material flesh body, but
a gorgeous spiritual body...)

He is not a monster and will not abandon the many believers
who want to come to Him during tribulation...
Neither does he call His souls names such as 'religious folk.'
He is not cold and condescending.

We who are born of God, born again, and in His same image have already been taken out from this world and no longer of it.

It is a thing for the past for all who has been enlightened by God Himself. And when one does see Him as He is ye shall be like Him. 1 John 3. You cant be of this world and be of Christ, that is impossible -- but then one would have to be born of God and taken out from this world to understand what it is to be in His kingdom in a so called rapture.

Religious minds see it as a physical thing when in fact it is a spiritual thing, God is a Spirit and His heaven is Spirit and man is the temple of God, and either He has taken you out to be where He is or you have not and still of this world, flesh.

To have a physical god come and remover you is a religious mind, not a spiritual mind that God is at all.

No such thing. They only "rapture" in Scripture is those who are caught up to meet Jesus in the air when he comes. Nothing about heading off yonder to heaven to escape any tribulation.

Does the Bible teach a rapture?

The Bible does not teach that believers are spared from suffering but that we are called to suffer together with him.

They have it backwards.

No.

1 Thess. 4:17 says they that are alive and remain shall be taken up.

Remain from what?

When Christ comes, Paul says those who have already died will rise first and be caught up with Christ in the air.

Those who "remain" are those who were not dead when he comes. They are alive when he comes. They will not be taken up until the dead in Christ rise first.

I once heard someone say that the dead are raised first because they have six feet farther to go than the ones who are alive.

Ive never seen it in the bible but then I'm no biblical scholar

Everyone who is of Christ, anointed of God, born again, born of God are that new creature that is exactly as our God for He comes to anyone who will receive Him.

Jesus became this new creature when God came to him by the Spirit that God is and open up to him this new creature that came out from the Father just as all do has received the same. See Matt 3:16 this is when his ministry started.

The coming of the Christ? That is a matter is one receiving the Christ. If one is waiting for Christ to return, He never left, man has always been anointed of Gods Spirit and Adam was the first to be Gods anointed when he became like God to know this difference. Gen 3:22. Abraham, Moses, Mary, Jesus 120 and all today who are of Gods anointing, Christ, are like Him, we are new creatures, the old things of the law has passed away and all things became new in all who has received the Christ.

Receiving Christ is not just a confession that you believe in Christ, receiving the Christ is to receive the same anointing Jesus and all of these others had from God to be like Him and walk as he walks in it.

Waiting for the Christ to come? Try opening the door to the One who is at it knocking this day.

There is a time of Jacob's trouble Jeremiah 30
the Church is not Israel
Correct they do not follow the way of Christ. Nor does our denominations they have their own ideas about a god and makes laws to regulate their gods.
Gods church is exactly like Him As Jesus was like Him. Perfect even as our Father in heaven is perfect no different at all

Israel is not a monolith thought and action wise and never has been
there has always been Jewish believers, and always will be
and they are the only Nation with a promise that at a future time All will be

God the Son/Jesus is an aspect of God - the Word and Image, the very Image at that
the only righteousness believers in Him actually have is His Righteousness imputed to them
Christians still sin as they, like all Mankind except Messiah, are by nature Sinners and rebels

In Christ one cant be otherwise. Either you are of Christ and without sin or you are not of Christ and the sinner.

God perfects us with His Spirit be our own mind.

Which are you of, righteousness or sin? Are you perfect even as your Father in heaven is perfect as Jesus commanded of us if we are to be of his Father who was his God. And we who are born of God it is impossible to be in sin. 1 John 3:9.

God the son? There is no God the son. We have sons of God but not one of His sons are a god.

A Christian is Gods anointed, that is what Christ means, Christ in you is Gods anointing in you. same anointing from God Jesus basked in.
It is impossible to be of Christ and be of sin. If one says he is of Christ yet a sinner then that makes the one they say they are of a sinner doesnt it?

We who are born of God it is impossible to be in sin. 1 John 3:9. For He comes and takes away the sins of this world and when you see Him as He is ye shall be like Him as well --1 John 3. And if you have seen and God is actually manifest in you then you will be like Him instead of the sinner from religious minds for laws.

You cant be in Christ and be in sin that is impossible it is one or the other but not both.
