Ultimately your posts are the truth. Our task is to merely tell and show the gospel and forums like this dont have much positive effect. Its up to us to share the gsopel and pray for people, its God who peforms His wonders. So ultimately you are right because the world is not the kingdom.
But it is the believers who should make disciples from believers.

Maybe we shoudlnt be voting for earthly rulers?

Exactly, we are to make disciples of believers and not try to make believers or disciples of God and Christ through establishing laws like the Pharisees of Jesus' day would have loved to do if they lived today also.

The churches do not see this, but that is the picture that the lost are seeing from what they do, they are seeing the same thing that the people of Israel were seeing from the Scribes and Pharisees and who Jesus condemned the practices of also.

Just consider how the war of Roe vs Wade began by the churches, for they involved themselves in civil disobedience and even being drug off of the properties of the abortion clinics and even killing people also.

The fact is, you can read the book of Acts and you will never see the disciples of Jesus being involved in any civil disobedience of this sort but only for preaching the gospels as commandment by Jesus and there were plenty of atrocities against mankind being done by Rome that they could have been involved against also but they never were period.

I agree except that whilst neither Jesus nor the NT church challenged the Roman or Greek authorities, they did challenge the Jewish leaders and the churches. Most of the NT is written to or about believers. Even with the sermon on the mount the disciples gathered around Jesus and He taught the disciples...and the crowd listened.
However, Paul did appeal to his Roman citizenship for a fair trial
Which is why the threat to the church is deception, not world politics

Exactly and that is what we are supposed to be doing also, for although the church will soon judge the world and angels at the end of the age, that time has not come yet but in 1 Corinthians 6, Paul very clearly reveals that we should be judging the affairs of the churches and you are also right about the fact that the real problem for the church is deception.

By the way, the crowds that Jesus spoke the sermon on the Mount unto were predominately Israelites also, for that is who Jesus came to straighten out and not the Romans and history has repeated itself with the churches also, for they are always who God is most concerned with and not with what the world is doing.

No, but it is you that need to read the rest of the Bible like for instance Psalm 137:9 below.

This is speaking about the babies of the wicked

Psalm 137:9 Happy is the one who seizes your infants
and dashes them against the rocks.
Your treatment of Psalm 137:9 is horrible. This was God's judgment upon the Babylonians for what they had done to the Jewish children.

Not at all, for my point was how both God and Israel felt about the babies of the wicked and God doesn't change, but the only difference now is that he has provided a solution for their sin and sinful habits through the sacrifice of Christ on the cross.

So whereas we don't go waring against the wicked and their children anymore like God commanded Israel to do, we instead reveal his law through our lives and how we live and then preach the gospel message unto them and leave the rest up to them and God.

For this is what God instructed the church to do and not to attempt to legislate his morality unto them when they have no power within themselves to be able to obey it.,

In fact, if you read Paul's words in Romans 7 about what the law does when preached to unbelievers, you will see that it actually makes the sin within them come alive even more and this is why abortion was made legal to start with , because instead of the church revealing the law to the lost through how they live, they instead went out and preached the law at the abortion clinics.

This only made the sin within the unbelievers come alive even more and this stirred them up to go out to the polls in great numbers to vote and to voted against the pro life of the churches and there are always more lost than there are saved and that is why abortion became legal to start with.

It is because the churches involved themselves in something that God never instructed them to be doing in this.

If you read Daniel 2 and 4 and also Jesus' words in Acts 1:6-7, you should see that the "times and season" and which refers to the appointment of the world leaders and the removal of the world leaders in their appropriate times and seasons is God's business alone and not that of the churches.

In other words, God is going to put into power whoever he deems necessary to put in to power to either bring correction or blessing to his people and it really therefore doesn't matter what the churches do with their voting except that many times God will give his rebellious people what they want in order to bring correction upon them.

In other words the true church or the church that abides in the truth, leaves who is appointed to rule over any given country up to God alone and they get on with the business of preaching the gospel like they were really instructed to do.

I agree with Jack, this was punishment to the Babylonians. Otherwise I agree with you about our core commission.
