Saying "Pro-Life" (video)

Correct - it might be prosecuted as something else.
Unless, of course the "Law du jour" defined it as such. Humans make "Laws" according to how they feel at the time, and what they had for dinner the day before. Abortion was a guaranteed legal RIGHT - until the "Supreme Court" finally got it right.

Laws are what determine legal issues. Yes laws change, that's what the legislature is for. Laws frozen in aspic become irrelevant and out of date. Nowhere, at any time has made abortion, murder. Not even in medieval Europe, controlled by the Roman Catholic church, when abortion in early pregnancy was ignored, and in late pregnancy was never considered murder.

We know the effect of the Catholic preoccupation with the unborn child. Just look at Ireland, where exactly what you describe, the death of a woman in a futile attempt to preserve a failed pregnancy, led directly to a massive popular vote in favour of legalising abortion. Even theost priest-ridden country in Europe has seen the light.

In your opinion.

Law, unlike morality, doesn't depend on your opinion. Not even on your opinion of what the law should be.
TRUE!!!! Our law is the result of the opinions of folks who matter (in the political sense), which doesn't include either of us.

Well, we get to vote them in or out of office, but I take your point. However, once codified, law is fixed and objective, the same for everyone, until amended. Unlike morality, which is mutable and subjective, different for everyone.

Assuming that the "Elections" actually mean anything. After 2020, I'm not so sure any more.

So not "Fixed" at all (as usual for human creations).

Pretty much the same as "Law" then.

No. As Trump is finding out today. Law is the same for everyone. It rarely changes. When it does, it is still the same for everyone. So pretty much the opposite of morality.

Just as "Morality" is within the majority of any given society. Trump wanted to be handcuffed, but they didn't (rats!! it'd be Good TV). My wife will be VERY upset if they take "Days of our lives" off to show the court foolishness.

If Trump wanted to be handcuffed, that will doubtless come out when the court hears what he got up to with the actress in question.
