Secular Media has lost its way

In order to create change as a journalist you would have to lie or give us your opinion. If you want to write opinion columns that fine that's not journalism or at least it's not reporting. But I like how you dont mind compromising integrity for your agenda. More leftist drivel.

Don't be silly. Take a journalist like David Attenborough. He is not compromising his integrity, nor is he lying or just giving opinion. He reports on facts, what is happening in the natural world, and what will happen if change doesn't happen He backs up his reporting with clear film footage. He is not the only honest journalist in the world.

I reject your assumption that in order to change the world, you have to lie about it. That seems nonsense to me.

Oh now it's just journalists that work at CNN that are dishonest? I thought you were making a general point that journalists shouldn't be allowed to affect change as it's mot their job. That is the goof all position.

I am making a general point but I am challenging you to see if you have the intellectual honesty to question CNN. It seems you dont. BTW I don't watch Fox.

I'll be honest and say that I find the obvious political bias of all TV stations in the US very difficult to rationalise. In the UK, newspapers are very partisan but TV stations are (by law) balanced. TV political journalists here get their reputations by being effective interviewers, asking hard questions of whoever is in front of them I find the sycophantic interviews that prevail on both CNN and Fox to be irritating and almost unwatchable.

The best journalists ask the questions that an intelligent non-aligned layman would ask. I am sure that there are good journalists on all networks in the US. I'm not sure how good they are allowed to be by their network bosses.

it is no longer an objective reporting service that informs people of the events in their nation or around the world. It is a tool used by many to brainwash or influence to make the wrong decision.
No, there is nothing wrong with secular media. Those that claim there is usually have consumed too much tRump koolaid.
