Exodus 12:8
They are to eat the meat that night, roasted over the fire, along with unleavened bread and bitter herbs.

The first Passover was eaten with unleavened bread, matzah. That would only happen where the 14th and 15th of Nissan coincide.

The Passover occurred at midnight. All meat must be eaten before morning, Exodus 12:10.
