Sharing of Christ sufferings

Revelation 12:11, "But they conquered him by the blood of the lamb and by the word of their testimony, for they did not cling to live even in the face of death."
Seriously that does not say anything about what you posted at all. You said suffering is one way of conquering Satan. The only person who has done that by suffering is Jesus, not others. It is Jesus who conquered.

Paul's prayer is also my prayer:

I want to know Christ and the power of his resurrection and the sharing of his sufferings by becoming like him in his death, if somehow I may attain the resurrection from the dead......Let those of us then who are mature be of the same mind.

So then yes let those of us who are mature be of the same mind.

he suffered because of our sins… blush….

to undo sin.

There are three things written in that verse about how we conquer Satan.

- the blood of the lamb
- the word of their testimony
- they did not cling to life even in the face of death

Not clinging to life even in the face of death is one of the ways it says that we conquer Satan.

satan was already conquered by Christ, Himself. When He died on the cross, He took away the sin of the world. satan no longer had the power to accuse. he was defeated by the blood of Jesus as the cause. Our faith and trust in Jesus alone, coupled with the powerful preaching of the gospel is a shield against satan's ability to accuse us.

What the above means is that those who believe and trust in Christ alone for their salvation, did NOT recant their belief in Christ, when threatened with death. Their faith in Christ remained in spite of being threatened with death.

There are countries in our lifetime in which Christians are threatened with death, unless they recant their faith in Jesus. They also face death for spreading Christianity. It is illegal in many places to preach the gospel. There are countries in which there are NO Christian churches period for it is illegal to be a Christian.

We all face death and it does not mean Satan is conquered. There is only one whose death conquers Satan, Jesus. The testimony about Jesus.

God allows suffering in our lives to prepare us for eternity as Paul said, "For this slight momentary affliction is preparing for us an eternal weight of glory beyond all measure."

Didn't the Roman Catholic Church teach you the basic fundamental truth that Jesus already defeated Satan on the cross?
The majority of Roman Catholics and others 'of the world' are inconsistent in their knowledge and adherence to God's truths.
How do you explain the fact that even after the Cross, the devil stalks the world if we aren't meant to be weapons against him?

So you think Jesus didn't defeat Satan on the cross, interesting.

catechism 2853

Victory over the “prince of this world” was won once for all at the Hour when Jesus freely gave himself up to death to give us his life.

Seems the catechism doesn't agree with you.

Yes, Jesus defeated Satan on the cross, but why has he not cast him into hell?

Perhaps God has allowed Stella's spiritual vision to be temporarily blurred to the eternal truth that Jesus defeated Satan on the cross. However it's much more likely that the RCC she has been taught by never instructed it's 'flock' to know the truth.
