Our daughter rode a short bus to get her upper level university engineering math prerequisites completed before starting High School. It was planned and supported BY law. Handicap, gifted and other criteria cause the schools to have a legal binding education contract. The schools do not have an option to cheat handicapped students. And they did. All students have a right to education. We want transportation and education to adjust to the needs of ALL the students. Not the needs of the suits.

Vouchers will solve some of this.

So now New York City is opening schools. Unions as usual are also trying to disrupt the classroom. Quack FaoChi is also pivoting. They are as crazy as closing schools because there may be snow.

By the way they are doing "testing" (taking temps) but academic testing will cease because it will make the education systems look like skunkworks.

I have a lot of school stories. 2 of ours attended a magnet school which was set up in the worst school in the District. It was elementary school and they put Magnet classrooms in there to boost the schools average test scores.

Our daughters girl scout group. 3 girls had daddies in prison. One murder. 2 friends had no cars in their home so they couldn't do events.
When they sold cookies, less than half the money was turned in. I made up the shortage. We bought cheap winter coats for our kids because 2 or 3 would get stolen every winter.

We have not heard a peep from FaoChi about the school drop out rates or teen suicide rate increases.

Schools are flakey and have lost bus drivers.
