"What hasn't worked is hybrid learning," she said. "Hybrid is disruptive to parents and educators and kids alike, and simultaneous livestream and in-school learning is an untenable pedagogical practice."

Home school works if it is planned and prepared. Hybrid is a junk model.

Kids don't know what to expect next Monday. Unstable dictators.

Our daughter rode a short bus to get her upper level university engineering math prerequisites completed before starting High School. It was planned and supported BY law. Handicap, gifted and other criteria cause the schools to have a legal binding education contract. The schools do not have an option to cheat handicapped students. And they did. All students have a right to education. We want transportation and education to adjust to the needs of ALL the students. Not the needs of the suits.

Vouchers will solve some of this.

So now New York City is opening schools. Unions as usual are also trying to disrupt the classroom. Quack FaoChi is also pivoting. They are as crazy as closing schools because there may be snow.

By the way they are doing "testing" (taking temps) but academic testing will cease because it will make the education systems look like skunkworks.
So
We can't trust our schools with education
We can't trust science because of how politix has cobbled up global warming and economics etc
We can't trust CIA and FBI.
We can't trust Marxists who seek chaos.

(hybrid and online learning deliveries do not perform well with the learning styles of students)

Well they shut down the schools based on nothing more than oracles from on high. Benefits run out in January. When will the rent be due and how many will be evicted including parents with kids? How much job loss? They might as well read tea leaves or did astrology or better yet consult the crystal ball. They might have got better results reading the innards of gutted animals.

The path ahead leads to more and more failing students. A lot of these parents have low-paying jobs and are dependent on schools being open so they can work. So they are in a bind and the Dems are not making things easier. They cannot hold down their low paying job if they have to watch their kids because the schools are not open. In other news

Most of the poorer students (poorer in terms of grades) have parents who are not geared to be classroom assistants or homeschool teachers. One District in Philly, half of the students Never once logged in to their online class after schools closed in March.

I have a lot of school stories. 2 of ours attended a magnet school which was set up in the worst school in the District. It was elementary school and they put Magnet classrooms in there to boost the schools average test scores.

Our daughters girl scout group. 3 girls had daddies in prison. One murder. 2 friends had no cars in their home so they couldn't do events.
When they sold cookies, less than half the money was turned in. I made up the shortage. We bought cheap winter coats for our kids because 2 or 3 would get stolen every winter.

We have not heard a peep from FaoChi about the school drop out rates or teen suicide rate increases.

Schools are flakey and have lost bus drivers.

School bus drivers not eligible for unemployment. also many are seniors and at higher risk than teachers.
