Surely you realise that atrocious acts of violence are only committed by the other side. What your own side does is always justified retaliation and self-defence. This is how we know that American forces never ever commit war crimes.

He's pointing out that as a store owner, they didn't retaliate against those who burned and looted their businesses. That kid in Kenosha was washing off graffiti and trying to put out a dumpster fire when the mob decided that they needed to chase him down and kill him for spoiling their fun. Self defense is not retaliation either.

Jolly good, but irrelevant to my satirical point that it is only the other side who ever do anything wrong, whichever side you happen to be on. It's a rare bird that admits to wrongs committed by their own side.

I guess I must be a rare bird then because I eventually had to walk away from the GOP because of their sins against humanity. With regards to this issue though, we all watched as cities burned, and stores were looted all summer long over a whole lot of nothing. Law enforcement did pretty close to nothing to stop it. Then we get to watch a blatantly staged media event where Capitol hill police are seen removing barricades to let the "protesters" walk through the Capitol taking selfies with those same police officers. For this the government sees fit to bring in 25k armed guards?

I don't see a right side in this equation anywhere.

Unity from the people who are burning down our cities and attacking innocent citizens? Democrats are egging them on, supporting them, and paying their fines to get out of jail. Then they accuse the law abiding people of being violent and not wanting unity.
