I've heard a lot of things, but what I've heard seems kind of vague.
Did he resign all by himself, or was it a forced resignation, or was he actually "removed" or what? There doesn't seem to be anything like "We thank him for his many years of faithful service" anywhere.
And - I thought Governing Body members were chosen/selected/appointed/whatever by "Jehovah", and were counted as being part of the 144,000 anointed class, and were on the GB for life.
Anybody here have the actual (and verifiable) facts?
