We are all used to hearing the RCC on how it has changed and is doing more to protect children. But it is obvious there is no real change.
I have previously mentioned the actions of the ex Bishop of Broome who voluntarily stood down after his case became public. But that is not the end of it he was still conducting masses, funerals etc.
A second priest has broken ranks with the Catholic Church, going public with concerns about what he has described as the "abysmal and extremely unjust" Vatican response to sexual misconduct allegations at an outback diocese.
The article goes on to point out:
It comes as an ABC investigation has uncovered a series of scandals involving priests in the trouble-plagued Diocese of Broome, including one who impregnated a schoolteacher, and a clergyman who returned to India before police could interview him over indecent assault allegations made by a teenage girl.
Apparently the vatican has conducted a report but it is not going to be made public and one of the priests involved left Australia before the police could interview him.
But now we have action"
The Vatican has sent a veteran Australian Catholic Bishop at the centre of separate police and church investigations on six months of "sabbatical leave" to be spent outside his outback diocese.
This was revealed publicly in March but a priest had brought it before RC authorities earlier than that. WOW such quick response to protect children, I don't think.
Jesus would not allow children to be put at risks. Remember as well this is a very remote area of Australia with a large indigenous population. They are among the most vulnerable people in our society. When will the RCC stop lying about being founded by Jesus, or the pillar and foundation of truth and morals etc?
