T Coronae Borealis is about to go nova -

It should be visible for several days. Binoculars make it easier to spot but it is expected to be similar to Polaris ( a magnitude 2 star ~ 1.97v ).

I shall look out for this. Very excited this evening as I have seen the Aurora Borealis from my own garden. I live in Wales and this is a long way south, the first time in my lifetime. Just a glow on the horizon, but like the eclipse, it makes the universe real.
