At the top of the message ribbon the "insert image (Ctrl + P)" graphic user interface has two modes. The "drop image" mode for *.jpg, .*png, or *.gif images has not worked for a while - even if one is a super member.

A super member is able to provide an image using the "by url" mode. Here is an example of Felix the Cat with a .jpg image - via the "by url" mode.

There is an issue with the server and I don't think it is an easy fix. I was on another Xenforo board that has the same issue and it took them a while to solve it.
