What proof is there that the 144,000 are Evangelists?
David Jeremiah uses Revelation 7:9-10 as evidence that the 144,000 are evangelists. What proof is there that the 144,000 are Evangelists?
I like Dr. David Jeremiah. I think he is reading into the text.David Jeremiah uses Revelation 7:9-10 as evidence that the 144,000 are evangelists.
None of the other articles I'm finding are identifying them.

Who Are the 144,000 in the Book of Revelation?
Like much of Revelation, mystery surrounds the 144,000 Tribulation witnesses. Who are they? What will be their objective? Will they be protected? Will they have any effect on the lost people of the Last Days? Although we do not know everything about the events that will take place and those...davidjeremiah.blog
There's proof that they are of all the tribes of the children of Israel. What proof is there that the 144,000 are Evangelists?
It seemed like that to me too.I like Dr. David Jeremiah. I think he is reading into the text.
Another place where the 144,000 are mentioned is followed by this passage:
Revelation 14
6 Then I saw another angel flying in the midst of heaven, having the everlasting gospel to preach to those who dwell on the earth—to every nation, tribe, tongue, and people— 7 saying with a loud voice, “Fear God and give glory to Him, for the hour of His judgment has come; and worship Him who made heaven and earth, the sea and springs of water.”
I believe they just travel throughout Israel for 3.5 years .Jesus covers much of what happens between these verses. It seemed like that to me too.
FWIW, I have always been taught that the 144000 are witnesses who travel all Israel, telling the people to believe in Jesus.
Another version is that they travel the whole world telling people about Jesus.
It's been long enough that I just don't recall where their being "evangelists" comes from.
🤷🏽♂️
I've known that there are Christian television stations that use this to base their existence on.
While I don't specifically have a problem with this, the question is where the bible says they're doing the work of evangelism.I believe they just travel throughout Israel for 3.5 years .Jesus covers much of what happens between these verses.
Like the scripture says, they follow the Lamb where ever he goes.
Mathew 10:5-6
These twelve Jesus sent forth, and commanded them, saying, Go not into the way of the Gentiles, and into any city of the Samaritans enter ye not:
But go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Israel.
Mathew 10:23
But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.
noneWhat proof is there that the 144,000 are Evangelists?
Are you positive Jesus is only speaking to a few disciples and not many? While I don't specifically have a problem with this, the question is where the bible says they're doing the work of evangelism.
These passages are indeed good, but they're talking about the disciples at that time.

The 144k will go out to all the world to proclaim the coming Kingdom of Jesus. As Isaiah 66:19 plainly says., I have always been taught that the 144000 are witnesses who travel all Israel, telling the people to believe in Jesus.
Another version is that they travel the whole world telling people about Jesus.
Sorry; just not Biblical.the 144k are restored to their original glorious eden body and return
with Christ
I was referring to the people on site, at that time in history. Are you positive Jesus is only speaking to a few disciples and not many?
Mathew 10:23
But when they persecute you in this city, flee ye into another: for verily I say unto you, Ye shall not have gone over the cities of Israel, till the Son of man be come.
I may have missed the coming of the Son of man,but I don't think I have.
Well, like the scripture says, they follow the Lamb where ever he goes. This we know. The Lamb traveled through Israel preaching the gospel.I was referring to the people on site, at that time in history.
Yet Jesus told the disciples to preach the gospel throughout the world.Well, like the scripture says, they follow the Lamb where ever he goes. This we know. The Lamb traveled through Israel preaching the gospel.
I can't see any of those who follow the Lamb where ever he goes going to NY or California because the Lamb didn't go there. At least not in scripture.

As Ive stated already. The Lamb covers alot between these verses. The fact that they are told to not carry money is very telling.Yet Jesus told the disciples to preach the gospel throughout the world.
He further stated that the gospel of the Kingdom would be preach to all nations and then the end would come.

This is speculation. Nowhere does scripture say the 144k will ever leave the earth. Now we know the 144000 are redeemed from the earth being the first fruits to God and to the Lamb.
I didn't say they leave the earth. For goodness sakes Keraz.Try to comprehend what your reading before arguing. This is speculation. Nowhere does scripture say the 144k will ever leave the earth.
They will do the task the Lord assigns to them; to proclaim the coming Kingdom. Isaiah 66:19
Luke 10:1-10 is the precursor for them.
