The Beauty of Merciful Free Will.

For those still in the process of learning correct Soteriology, it will help them to temporarily think in terms of implications, rather than clear Truth of Scripture. The stark reality of God's Word on the page can be frightening.

"Whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved." Acts 2:21.

The context here at First Fruits Pentecost is God dispensing His Holy Spirit upon all Flesh, per Prophet Joel cited by Apostle Peter. Jesus stated in John 16:8 the impending work of The Spirit upon the Gentile World to be for the sake of "Sin, Righteousness, and Judgement." This had been the previous, yet unsuccessful, work of the Mosaic Law unto the Hebrews.

Clearly "implied" here is Free Will for Gentiles coming to Christ, far apart from election. Election is a term used upon the Hebrew Nation, not upon Gentiles. Gentiles have not replaced the Hebrews. Their Abrahamic Covenant is irreversible.

Praise God for His clear distinction between the First and Second Covenants. Please restrict your responses to the actual topic here. Flamboyant preaching is not needed. A sad and mechanistic demeanor will be poor evidence of Biblical Salvation. Honor our Blessed Redeemer from the heart.
