The Biblical Stigma of Mental Illness.

"God has not given us a spirit of fear, but a spirit of power, love, and of a sound mind." (2 Tim. 1:7)

Whenever people are disconnected from God by sin, they will not have received His Spirit of a sound mind. Without that glorious sound mind they are automatically suffering from mental illness in some manner. Anger, compulsions, fear, confusion, disassociated from reality, unloving, uncaring, discouragement, depression, abandonment, no joy, poor relationships, futile pursuits, darkness.

Stigma upon mental illness today is to ignore it, minimize it, misdiagnosed it, tolerate it, proclaim false improvements upon it, and make excuses for it. Jesus quickly recognized it, spoke to it, dispelled it, healed it, and restored the person to productive life.

Even the Christian medical professionals we have today are slaves to the witchcraft of Pharmacology while they ignore the presence of evil spirits. They refuse to address the core issues as did Jesus. They talk, explain, imagine a fancy diagnosis, and are happy to claim "improvements." Meanwhile, the patient lost in sin and depression is still not whole. They are just given accommodation in their condition by fabled "treatment" or "therapy" using empiric drugs to hide the symptoms. Some even claim a diagnosis of "chemical imbalance" or "organic disorder."

They are never told of the Love from their Creator and Savior by the professionals.
