The Confiteor

Why do Roman Catholics audibly confess at the beginning of each Mass performance, that they are insurmountable sinners in thought, word and deed, stating repeatedly that their sins are their own fault and expressing verbally a repetitious recited confession of their sins to unknown dead and buried people, as well as to other sorts of unknown invisible, yet living objects, who are apparently some sort of beings in another realm - although they are not, and were not, human beings at any time. While wrapped up in mindlessly reciting this ritualistic prayer, the penitent Roman Catholics then audibly beseech Virgin Mary, Michael the Archangel, John the Baptist, 2 Apostles - Peter and Paul, and all the numberless saints to pray for them to God. Doesn't this sounds like a cult of misled people who have a zeal for the supernatural realm and have abandoned all reason, sound doctrine and common sense in order to grab ahold of anything that even appears to have the markings of something supernatural upon it?

Still knowingly misrepresenting Luther. Is that your version of 'sinning boldly?' Is this continual misrepresentation of Luther a sin MF? Is it relevant to the state of your soul or is your post just lip service to your church? If catholics 'actually' believe sin is relevant...why do you do it so unashamedly?

Strawman;
That is not what the doctrine nicknamed total depravity means:

Is does mean that every aspect of our life is totally affected by sin.

"Total Depravity is the doctrine that fallen man is completely touched by sin and that he is completely a sinner. He is not as bad as he could be, but in all areas of his being, body, soul, spirit, mind, emotions, etc., he is touched by sin. In that sense, he is totally depraved."

Please can an RC tell me why they keep sinning, if they believe that you do not sin again. Please show me why the need for confession, the sacraments, the last rite, purgatory, Marian scapulars etc? Why do RC leaders go to confession and repeat their sin?

Who said that you do not sin again? Please show where a Catholic said that.

If RCs understood what being saved truly meant, they would not misquote Luther at all. If one is saved, God changes our minds, we behave differently. We do not lie about divorces being annulments for example. We do not pretend we can sin and that is okay because we have confession and all is forgiven.

If you are truly saved and have REPENTED. That means you are a changed person.

That's quite rambling and ambiguous. In dot points, what are your objections to the Confiteor?

All the hyperbole in the world does not excuse "Be a sinner, and let your sins be strong".

"Be perfect as your heavenly father is perfect."

That ^ is Scriptural. Or do Protestants think that is hyperbole as well?
Stop misquoting Luther it is bearing false witness. Post the whole context, not just one line. RCs seem to think going to confession justifies their sinning. Look at those sexually immoral priests.

I posted the whole paragraph with that line.
You cannot justify "Be a sinner and and let your sins be strong".
