The difference between Godhead and The Divine Being and The Divine Essence

The difference between Godhead and The Divine Being is the same as the relation between Life and a Living Thing , It follows The Divine Being is the same as Godhead, nevertheless we speak of each term in a different way ,according to their own proper concept and idea.

So according to your Trinitarian view...

Using your analogy, does "The Divine Essence" refer to Life (Godhead) or to a Living Thing (The Divine Being)?

When we say " Several Persons having Godhead , we do not imply diversity in God, or that imperfections should exist in Him, but rather we mean that The Divine Essence Comprehends within itself the Perfection of All being ( Ex 3:14)".

You say it "comprehends" which would imply a Living Thing.
But you also say it is "essence" which would imply Life.
That is why I am asking.

Does this question imply that the Godhead isn't a living being...and that the Divine being is?

Your fellow TRINITARIAN says there is a difference between Godhead and The Divine Being .

I do not.

So I am asking TRINITARIANS what they believe about "The Divine Essence".

1) Is there a difference between "The Divine Essence" and "Godhead"?

2) Is there a difference between "The Divine Essence" and "The Divine Being"?

I say No to both questions.

Please post YOUR answers.

What you are presenting are descriptions.
The Godhead describes who the Divine being is.

So... where does “The Divine Essence” fit in...

1) Is there a difference between "The Divine Essence" and "The Godhead"?

2) Is there a difference between "The Divine Essence" and "The Divine Being"?

I say No to both questions.

Please post YOUR answers.

I will... right after YOU answer the questions...

You too @aeg4971.

Can you define what..
Divine Essence is.
What the Godhead is.
What the Divine Being is.

My mind has an understanding of what each might be...perhaps with some wiggle room because the bible doesn't really have a chapter on the issue...so, could you provide a meaning for the above terms..so I and others can answer your question under the context of what you perceive the words to mean.

These terms were used by TRINITARIANS.

I say No to both questions.

Please post YOUR answers according to YOUR definitions of those terms.

P.S.

I think the three terms are synonyms so I would define all three the same, "God, divine nature".

Can you present a diagram of what you believe helps explain your doctrine of God?

I believe transcendent from creation there is just ONE Spirit/Being/Person. So there is no diagram needed for God.

Just to clarify your view...

1) Which statement is true?
A) The Trinity is God.
B) The Trinity is not God.

2) Which statement is true?
C) The Trinity is God the Father.
D) The Trinity is not God the Father.

The chart explains it.

The chart explains it.

So.........

1) Which statement is true?
A) The Trinity is God.
B) The Trinity is not God.

2) Which statement is true?
C) The Trinity is God the Father.
D) The Trinity is not God the Father.

"The Trinity" is not labeled on the chart.
So I am asking to know if you would put an "is" between God and The Trinity or an "is not" etc.

Where is the diagram that expresses your view of God?

Is it this?

I think many of you are so full of humanism , that the lot of you fail to grasp ,the Infinite Divine Mind/Intellect is in no way distinct therefrom really Divine Substance itself. Since all in God is His One Essence which is His One Existence, which is His very own Godhead.

So @aeg4971..........

1) Is there a difference between "The Divine Essence" and "Godhead"?

2) Is there a difference between "The Divine Essence" and "The Divine Being"?

I say No to both questions.
