I was talking about the Republican threat to block increasing the Debt Ceiling specifically. That is a particularly stupid threat, after seeing what happened in 2011 and to Liz Truss.

It is not, however, surprising to find that RWers reject the supported conclusions of experts in favor of talk show hosts with no relevant education or training.

Which is what Biden did, by, for example passing an infrastructure bill that will create lots of good jobs and demand for construction materials.

More tax cuts for rich people only makes them rich and does not help the rest of us.

Some of those burdens on business require them to treat customers and employees fairly or to not pollute. Should we really eliminate such regulations?

Well, the GOP has already stated that wasteful spending that should be cut includes SS and Medicare. Are you on board with that?

VP Cheney said that deficits don't matter, and for some reason, Republicans have never complained about raising the debt ceiling when there is a Dem in the WH? Why is that, especially when the deficit increases more under GOP leadership?
