The problem with limiting the scope of 1 Tim. 2:4.

How true!

Jesus wept because He always gets what He wants........
This type of thing shows the little regard you have for the word of God and what we believe it teaches.

Jesus wept before (knowingly) raising Lazarus from the dead.

As if He did not get what He wanted.

You people have no shame.

They are more than ready to dethrone God in order to make room to enthrone themselves.

Your theology corrupts the gospel and glorifies sinful humans instead of giving God all the glory, as the true Gospel does.
More rhetoric devoid of scriptural content, rebuttal or scriptural argumentation

Without Christ no one gets saved

The glory is Christs and

God the Fathers for sending him and for establishing the plan of salvation

You just dont like what God chose to do

1 Corinthians 1:21 (KJV)
21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.

Your gospel is aberrant and is a salvation of works.

Congrats!! You did it!

Except the bible does not support your claim

Romans 4:3-5 (KJV)
3 For what saith the scripture? Abraham believed God, and it was counted unto him for righteousness.
4 Now to him that worketh is the reward not reckoned of grace, but of debt.
5 But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is counted for righteousness.

faith is not a work which obligates God

Rather it is God choice to save those that believe

There was no Scripture to argue about in that exchange.
Without Christ no one gets saved
No way, really?
The glory is Christs
Read again: "Your theology corrupts the gospel and glorifies sinful humans instead of giving God all the glory, as the true Gospel does."

You take that glory and give it to yourself. Fact.

That's you projecting. The fact remains YOU don't like the fact that God chose whom He willed to save, only because of Christ, not anything about them, not by anything they have done 2 Timothy 1:9.

1 Corinthians 1:26-31.

(1Co 1:26) For consider your calling, brothers: not many of you were wise according to worldly standards, not many were powerful, not many were of noble birth.
(1Co 1:27) But God chose what is foolish in the world to shame the wise; God chose what is weak in the world to shame the strong;
(1Co 1:28) God chose what is low and despised in the world, even things that are not, to bring to nothing things that are,
(1Co 1:29) so that no human being might boast in the presence of God.
(1Co 1:30) And because of him you are in Christ Jesus, who became to us wisdom from God, righteousness and sanctification and redemption,
(1Co 1:31) so that, as it is written, “Let the one who boasts, boast in the Lord.”

But the problem is, in your false gospel, you go against the above text, hating its truths, and thus twist the plain meaning.

Instead of "no human boasting" being a part of the Gospel of salvation, you do boast in yourself and in man.

Instead of the fact it is God Who chose, you turn it to you chose.

Instead of it being "because of Him" you are in Christ, you make it because of what you did.

And furthermore, the fact that it was all unconditional, (1:26) you twist that as well, and preach the same gospel from hell that "provisionists" preach, that it is because of you, what you did, because you chose, decided &c, "choice meats" that you are "elect."

Lastly, our gospel is corrupt and is against Scripture.
1 Corinthians 1:21 (KJV)
21 For after that in the wisdom of God the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe.
As if that somehow refutes anything. lol!

Instead of "no human boasting" being a part of the Gospel of salvation, you do boast in yourself and in man.
Only in your imagination

I have not seen anyone posting a single boast

In any case

Romans 3:25-27 (KJV)
25 Whom God hath set forth to be a propitiation through faith in his blood, to declare his righteousness for the remission of sins that are past, through the forbearance of God;
26 To declare, I say, at this time his righteousness: that he might be just, and the justifier of him which believeth in Jesus.
27 Where is boasting then? It is excluded. By what law? of works? Nay: but by the law of faith.

the law of faith excludes boasting

contrary to your thinking

God saves those that believe

not some unconditionally chosen

Did you imagine God saves all the low and despised and does not save the those not low or despised

Rather those who look to their earthly wisdom and position will find it harder to trust in another for their salvation

however it is still those that believe who are saved

in response to bthe question what must I do to be saved

Acts 16:30 (KJV)
30 And brought them out, and said, Sirs, what must I do to be saved?

Paul did not say nothing if God infuses faith in you then you will be saved

Acts 16:31 (KJV)
31 And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house.

rather he told them to believe on the lord Jesus Christ

They were to actively (they do it) on Christ

What is stated as foolish is the gospel (sarcastically of course because it is only those whom judge by worldly wisdom who find it so)

This is just another example how you distort anything you reply to

and God choses

that is his choice

which you also distort into trying to make me say men chose themselves

18 For the word of the cross is folly to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19 For it is written,

I will destroy the wisdom of the wise,
and the discernment of the discerning I will thwart.

20 Where is the one who is wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the debater of this age? Has not God made foolish the wisdom of the world? 21 For since, in the wisdom of God, the world did not know God through wisdom, it pleased God through the folly of what we preach to save those who believe.

tsk tsk

And you are the one always advocating that the gospel is not folly and can be understood by everyone and then a decision to believe can be made....

You are so all over the place......

What does this even mean?

Are you able to untangle your distortions?
You distort so much you have completely entangled the falsehoods into your brain.

That is why the word of God is folly to you........
