The RCC rightly supports the voice

I am pleased that the RCC is supporting the yes vote for the voice. Like in all things there is the odd dissenting voice among the bishops. But the bulk are supporting the voice.

For non Australians the voice is a referedum to change our constitution, it must receive a majority of the vote and a majority of states if it is to pass. It is allow first nations people to have an advisory board to our parliament. It cannot take things to parliament as law, that is the job of the elected leaders but it can give them insights into what they need and what will help improve their life outcomes. It is very important and it will acknowledge them in our constitution. This is a major vote with a lot of rubbish being sprouted by the no campaign.

Just to let you know not everything is wrong that the RCC does.
