I know, just like people didn't believe Christ [Jn 6:66]. One faith, one baptism,....
John 14:6 Jesus never mentioned Mary nor a pope. Jesus stole your thunder it is about Him not the RCC , Mary or a pope those in Him go through Him there is no other way. You do know Jesus said , “ no man goes the the Father but by Him” ?

Do you live your life off of one verse? Oh my!
Not hardly there are many verses that expose the lies the RCC teaches, but generally RC’s are so brain washed they cannot understand the scriptures that condemn their ungodly lies, which is why the RCC relegated scripture to being under their authority. The better question is why do you ignore a clear teaching of Jesus to stay in idolatry ?

Saved folks walk in the light because they love God and are saved not be be saved.

I doubt anyone would claim they are saved outside of the Blood of Jesus Christ--and that Blood was conditional upon one walking in the light--if the testimony of John is true:

1 John 1:7--King James Version
7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

Scripture does not teach that we are being saved it teaches that those in Christ are saved. KJV-1Co 1:18 - For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish foolishness;but unto us which are saved it is the power of God.

So--is one "in Christ"--before or after the Blood of Christ cleanseth from all sin?

I'm not RCC--but it seems to me the Catholics are much closer to scripture than anyone with faith alone theology.

1 John 2:3-4---King James Version
3 And hereby we do know that we know him, if we keep his commandments.
4 He that saith, I know him, and keepeth not his commandments, is a liar, and the truth is not in him.

Paying for mankind's sins on the cross to earn us forgiveness of sins, and eternal life in heaven, rising from the dead to conquer sin, death, and the devil.

I agree with that assessment, but there is something I feel needs to be considered in Lutheran theology.

While God procured the right to eternal life, and ownership of it--the question still remains--who does God give His grace unto life?

IMO--that's where the Lutheran theology fails--and is not Biblical:

Romans 6:22--King James Version

22 But now being made free from sin, and become servants to God, ye have your fruit unto holiness, and the end everlasting life.

You would agree with the RCC no surprise there.

And teaches it from the Bible, not from the "doctrines of men."

So--is the origin of this doctrine from men--or the Bible?

Galatians 6:7-9---King James Version
7 Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.
8 For he that soweth to his flesh shall of the flesh reap corruption; but he that soweth to the Spirit shall of the Spirit reap life everlasting.
9 And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
