It's prophecy dealing with the new covenant written in the future tense. What about that don't you get??

You are dodging the point

You affirmed Ezek was a prophesy of the new covenant

and you affirmed faith is required to enter into the new covenant

therefore reception of the spirit a benefit of the new covenant

follows after faith not before it as you attempted to twist scripture to say

So before faith the Spirit only works externally?

You have been twisting scripture supporting the idea unbelievers are given the spirit so as to be believers

It is unbiblical

You seem to forget that John 3:16 doesn't actually say what you posted. Also, how do you handle John 3:18, that says that the one who does not believe is condemned already. Is it possible to change from being condemned already, since condemnation means death, so the verse is saying they are dead already? God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, that is the second coming. This is the first coming. He is telling the Jewish people that they are wrong about the Messiah. Jesus has come first to present salvation to the world, that those God has chosen to save, find their salvation in Christ. His second coming is to condemn the world. Even the demons didn't get this for they asked Jesus if He had come to judge them "before the time".
