Except that the Council of Trent says anybody who believes we're saved by grace is "anathema".
What are you referencing?

Council of Trent Canon 1. If anyone says that man can be justified before God by his own works, whether done by his own natural powers or through the teaching of the law, without divine grace through Jesus Christ, let him be anathema

I don't know if you have been influenced by anti Catholic propoganda or were deliberately trying to deceive? But I hope I've set you straight.

Neither. Just telling you what the Council of Trent said.

You should probably read that a little closer. It still allows for the necessity of works for salvation.

We aren't saved by works cooperating with grace, but solely by grace alone.

I was reading a daily Corrie ten Boom devotional this morning. It really applies tot his, it was about boasting in our weakness because it is Jesus that makes us strong. Our strength is not in ourselves but it is in Jesus. It is grace and it is sufficient.

2 cor 12:9+

9 But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 10 That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

My soul does not need to worry if I repeat what Angel Gabriel said to Mary.... or the Our Father, or the Glory Be, or the Apostles' Creed

and just in case you didn't know it, it is not commanded to say the rosary
The Rosary goes beyond what Gabriel said to Mary. Also, there are about 10X the number of "hail Marys" in the Rosary as the "Our Fathers..."

That tells us a lot about what the focus of the Rosary really is.

This morning I was saying a Rosary for my sister who was doing a 5 hour car journey to be our family representative at an Aunty's funeral. A thought jumped into my mind. 'I wonder if the anti Catholics are right and that reciting repetitious prayers are pagan nonsense?' I barely thought that and Jesus and Mary enveloped me in assurance in a tangible way. Dear Jesus thankyou for never failing me in my hour of need.
Aren't you the one always complaining about being hated? We reject praying to anyone or anything other than God. How is that anti catholic?

You actually know "anti-Catholics"?
Personally, I've never met any.

I barely thought that and Jesus and Mary enveloped me in assurance in a tangible way.

And how did you know it was Jesus and Mary?
Did they show you some sort of I.D.?
Or are you simply ASSUMING it?

Last year on a trip we met a couple from Atlanta Georgia and I said oh our son passed through Atlanta on his way to World Youth Day in Panama. The wife bounced back with yeah they call Atlanta the gateway to hell. *chuckle*. We were quite taken aback. To be sure we weren't hundred percent sure if they were anti Catholic or just racist against South Americans. It was quite the shock though.

The fruits of the moment were both comfort and peace.

Endorphins are very powerful.

You remind me of many ex-Mormons who thought they had the Holy Spirit, but later discovered it was only an adrenalin rush.

You could say that of the Apostles experiences as well. Just endorphins.

Not so there Stella; not so
but you probably do

2Peter 1:16
For we have not followed cunningly devised fables,
when we made known unto you the power and coming of our Lord Jesus Christ,
but were eyewitnesses of his majesty.
.
We have also a more sure word of prophecy;
whereunto ye do well that ye take heed,
as unto a light that shineth in a dark place,
until the day dawn, and the day star arise in your hearts:
20 Knowing this first,
that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation.
21 For the prophecy came not in old time by the will of man:
but holy men of God spake as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

when the Church of the Gentiles = wild evil Olive
is built on cunningly devised fables,
fabricated and concocted stories by the Minions of Satan
designed to deceive,
you have no wall; built of temperted Morter
no Plumb Line
nor that hedge of thorns

so you are ezy prey to deception

More likely, they were commenting on the airport, itself. But, if you want to insert yourself and make yourself a victim, go ahead.

Personally, I tend to agree with them. Can't count the times my connecting flights have been at opposite ends of the airport with only a few minutes between them.

RCs think it is all about them and it is a pity because it should be all about Jesus. But the nuns taught us everyone would hate us because we are RCs and the only one the devil need to get his hands on were RCs.

I live near Atlanta and I think these people were joking about Atlanta itself.

There is your answer. Yes pagan nonsense. Rosary beads and prayer to Mary who is dead.
