The Synod on Sodomy

Mysterium Fidei

Well-known member
In October of this year the Vatican will hold another one of its infamous synods where a large number of "bishops" from around the world will meet before collaborating to produce a final document for Bergoglio to use in his post-synodal “Apostolic exhortation”.

A few days ago Bergoglio announced that before the Roman phase of the synod in October, there would be an ecumenical prayer vigil in the Vatican’s St. Peter’s Square, which he tasked the non-Catholic ecumenical Taizé Community with organizing.

Bergoglio appointed pro-sodomite, pro-LGBT Cardinal Jean-Claud Hollerich as the Synod's Relator General.

He appointed pro-sodomite, pro-LGBT Cardinal Grech the General Secretary of the Synod.

He appointed pro-sodomite, pro-LGBT Sister Becquart, as Under Secretary of the Synod.

And finally, Bergoglio appointed the radically pro-sodomite, pro-LGBT Fr. Timothy Radcliffe as Synod retreat leader. I'm not going to go into details of "Fr." Radcliffe's background here, but I would invite anyone interested to look into "Fr." Radcliffe's homosexual "theology."

Also, in an interview just released today, Bergoglio has criticized laws that criminalize homosexuality as ‘unjust,’ saying God loves all his children just as they are and called on Catholic bishops who support the laws to welcome LGBTQ people into the church.

What do Catholics believe is going to be the final result of these synods? Bergoglio by his actions and words has made it very clear that he is in favor or regularizing or recognizing sodomite "unions" and transgenderism.

2Cor 6:17 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you,
2Cor 6:18 And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

I've predicted for years that the RCC is getting ready to put their imprimatur on homosexuality and will be at some point in time making Gay Marriage the 8th Sacrament of the RCC.

Do you think that this may be coming down this fall?

Goes to show what you know.

The pope does have absolute, unmitigated authority in the RCC. The pope is bound by God's Word. He cannot change Church teaching on homosexuality. If any pope attempted to change Church teaching--we would just have a heretical pope and a schism. Church teaching would not change.

Of course the pope isn't. For decades the popes hide the sexual molestion of children, yet God's word says to expose sin.

Bergoglio said that bishops who favor laws opposing sodomy need to have "a process of conversion." He also called any laws which criminalize sodomy as “unjust.” But then he SAYS homosexuality is a sin. So he wants to legalize sodomite acts, but still maintains they are a sin. This seems a contradiction, especially since everyone he appoints to any position has to be on board with the sodomite/LGBT/pedophile agenda.

Laws against sexual perversion in various nations are put in place for the for the protection of the population and for the common good. Some states outlaw adultery because they see the grave harm caused to society by broken families.

You don't have to go back too far in history of the US to find laws against contraception, and perverse acts such as sodomy, and adultery. Some of these laws are still on the books for some states. Divorce used to be much less common as well until "no fault divorce" came into being about 50 years ago.

Everyone Bergoglio has appointed to head up this synod are all on board with the sodomite agenda that Bergoglio is pushing.

"Fr." Radcliffe, much like Bergoglio's little boy toy, "Fr." James Martin, is an outspoken proponent of homosexuality and for "gay" unions.

He calls for leniency for sexually abusing priests, saying they are: "the lepers of the modern church, the unclean whom we fear to touch." Radcliffe said that homosexuals should not be banned from the priesthood; instead, "homophobes" should be.

In 2013 Radcliffe participated in an ecumenical working group on human sexuality where he compared acts of sodomy to the Eucharist: "How does all this bear on the question of gay sexuality? We cannot begin with the question of whether it is permitted or forbidden! We must ask what it means, and how far it is Eucharistic. Certainly it can be generous, vulnerable, tender, mutual and non-violent. So in many ways I think it can be expressive of Christ’s self-gift." #266

This man was the Superior General of the Dominican Order. This is the man Bergoglio appointed, in 2015, as a consulter to the then Pontifical Council for Justice and Peace. And it is the man Bergoglio selected to lead the synod retreat.

So Bergoglio can SAY homosexuality is a sin until he's blue in the face, but his actions betray his words.

Should we criminalize adultery? How about cohabitation? Premarital sex? Eating meat on Friday in Lent?

My point? I do not hear you calling for laws criminalizing the above, so--why homosexuality? The above are all Mortal Sins too.

When the pope starts teaching that homosexuality is not a sin-----then I will criticize him. Until such time, I am not concerned.

I understand that you would prefer to live in a totally debauched secular state, divorced from any kind of religion, where every perversity is allowed.

Do you favor Pride parades, Drag Queen story time, the sexualization of children by the government schools, "gay" marriage, the adoption of children by sodomite couples, the publication of sexually explicit books targeted at children and pornography? How about kiddie porn?

If not, what would be your basis for making laws against any of these things, but not outlawing sodomy? Look at the absolute sewer that this country's "culture" has become since everyone is now "free" to follow whatever perversity they choose.

In the Ages of Faith, of which you know nothing about, in Catholic countries (which you oppose) these kinds of things were criminalized as well they should be. The state should act for the decency of society and the common good of the people.

He is teaching it in that everyone he promotes is on board with the sodomite/LGBT/pedophile agenda Bergoglio is pushing.

I think it was God who originally "criminalized" sodomy. It's the origin of the word.

Mayhaps this Francis character, the current "pope", who has participated in pagan rituals, held ecumenical services with Muslims, Hindus, et al, and opens his mouth and spouts curse words (Matthew 15:18 But the things that come out of a person’s mouth come from the heart, and these defile them.) should be attending Universalist Unitarian church where you can bring your sock puppet in and worship it, if you so please. He and the RC Mary caricature would fit right in. This guy is just another example of someone who claims to be wise but is proved to be a fool (Romans 1:22 Although they claimed to be wise, they became fools.)

Francis isn't the brightest bulb on the Christmas tree, but I don't think even he would be stupid enough to normalize gay marriages and allow them to be performed in RCC churches with its blessings.

So you would support jailing people for adultery, pre-marital sex, cohabitation, contraception, etc? That is what you are saying?
Do you favor Pride parades, Drag Queen story time,
No, I can't stand that. I think the glorification of sin in our society is sickening.

The problem is that we live in a society where people have the right to free speech. If a bunch of gay people want to have a parade, they can do that. If some drag queen wants to have story time at the taxpayer funded library, they are free to do that. The answer to these things are not to shut them down, but to use OUR right of free speech to try and persuade people to our position and explain why these things are bad.

If you are going to take away the right of gay people to have a pride parade or the right of drag queens to read stories at the taxpayer funded library, then I see no reason why gay people and drag queens have to respect our right to criticize that or condemn it. The right of free speech must apply to everyone, or it applies to no one.
the sexualization of children by the government schools,
No, but this is a separate issue. We are talking about whether homosexuality should be criminalized, not whether we should sexualize children.
"gay" marriage,
Like it or not, gay marriage is the law of the land. The only way to change this is to get a constitutional amendment through. Good luck with that.
the adoption of children by sodomite couples,
We live in a free society. From the perspective of Faith, no I do not support this. But I have no secular reason why gay couples should not be allowed to adopt children. As long as Catholic agencies do not have to violate their religious beliefs, live and let live.
the publication of sexually explicit books targeted at children and pornography? How about kiddie porn
First, who in their right mind supports this? Second, the issue here is not whether kiddie porn should be legalized, but whether homosexuality out to be criminalized. There is a big difference. One involves what two or more consenting adults want to do in the privacy of their bedrooms. The other involves--child abuse. Again, BIG DIFFERENCE.

What countries today are Catholic theocracies, aside from the Vatican?

Yes He did--along with rebellious teens, picking up sticks on the Sabbath, adultery, etc. Yet nowhere in the NT do we see Jesus calling on the Jews to bring back the OT penalties for these sins. Does it follow Jesus thought these were no longer sins?

In the Old Testament, Israel was a nation state. That is why sins carried civil penalties.

Wow Bonnie! We agree on something!

I will say this: Pope Francis has given no indication that he even supports changing Church teaching on homosexuality. Pope Francis has rebuked the German Church. Francis has made it clear that homosexuality is sinful.

Well I never thought I would see the day when a pope would bless an idol but then I did.

Each one of these things was illegal at one time or another in this country. Not 1000 years ago in the Middle Ages. We used to have laws to uphold standards of morality and decency for the common good of society. Yes, they should all be illegal.

No, I can't stand that. I think the glorification of sin in our society is sickening.
But you are against any laws that uphold any kind of morality.

No sodomy and the promotion of sodomy is not free speech. It should absolutely be illegal and the promotion of their perversion to children should have severe consequences.

If you are going to take away the right of gay people to have a pride parade or the right of drag queens to read stories at the taxpayer funded library, then I see no reason why gay people and drag queens have to respect our right to criticize that or condemn it. Homosexuals have no right to promote or spread their perversions to other people, especially children. To do this is an abuse of "free speech." The role of the state is to work in cooperation with the Church to protect the Church's rights and to maintain a proper order in society for the common good in order to help them be good and attain the Beatific Vision.

No, but this is a separate issue. We are talking about whether homosexuality should be criminalized, not whether we should sexualize children.
Both should be criminalized. The grooming of children should have severe consequences.

Like it or not, gay marriage is the law of the land. The only way to change this is to get a constitutional amendment through. Good luck with that.

Gay marriage should be illegal and to allow them to buy children to pervert is sick. This speaks of the complete moral collapse of our society, and it is because people like you accept it. "Americanism" has been condemned by Leo XIII.

Do you still support laws against pedophilia and child pornography? If the state legalizes that, you will be OK with that too, just like your OK with every other perversion?
What countries today are Catholic theocracies, aside from the Vatican?
None, sadly. WWI, WWII and Vatican II finished off all the confessional states.
Nonsense.
The sodomites are all celebrating his declaring that sodomy should be legal in every country.

So it wasn't the sodomy God did not disapprove of, it was because Israel was a nation state? I get it. So Jesus now approves of sodomy? Did God change His mind? I'm sure Christ would be for the legalization of sodomy in every nation now.
