The woman

Was she?

Then why did sin enter through one MAN.
Gen 3
17 To Adam he said, “Because you listened to your wife and ate fruit from the tree about which I commanded you, ‘You must not eat from it,’

“Cursed is the ground because of you;
through painful toil you will eat food from it
all the days of your life.
18 It will produce thorns and thistles for you,
and you will eat the plants of the field.
19 By the sweat of your brow
you will eat your food
until you return to the ground,
since from it you were taken;
for dust you are
and to dust you will return.”

Yes, we all know the mistake she made. But are you saying that she continued to cooperate with the devil after that? Because that is what "in league with" would imply.
It was not a "mistake". You are making light of a disaster - THE FALL OF MANKIND.
Read the Lord's Passion account to see what it took to correct a "mistake".

Yep Adam deliberately chose to disobey God.

Rom 5:12

Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned

And again, by ONE MANS sin entered the world.... Eve is not blamed, Adam is.

It was an error to which we have all, individually, contributed.

Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all people, because all sinned. (Rom. 5:12)

Now, assuming that she repented of her sin and given the fact that it was through her seed that our Savior was born—why do you not believe that there emerged an enmity between her and the devil?

Irrelevant to the fact that Adam is blamed for the fall, not Eve.
It makes no sense to try and reason this out with those that are mariolators. Such is the enslavement to the lies within the Roman Catholic Church and the twisting of Scripture to try and create the narrative that Eve is not the mother of all but the rc Mary is. That Eve is responsible for the fall of man, not Adam. If such an argument succeeded then the mariolators are half-way to replacing Eve with the rc Mary.

So if the woman is Eve, why does God mention Eve and not Adam?
That is an illogical question coming from someone who thinks the passage refers to an unmentioned other woman.

If you're not aware, it was the rank and file of thet Latin speaking church who first imagined Mary into the passage. They did it because of the similarity of Eva, Eve, to ave, as in Ave Maria. Jaroslav Pelikan in Mary Through The Centuries lays it out in more detail.
Why didn't God say that he would put enmity between Satan and Adam?
Agency. Eve would be the mother of all living, but Adam would not tbe Father of all living.

So who is the woman that God is referring to?
Eve. She is the only woman in existence at the time of that promise by God. A literal translation of Genesis 4:1 has Eve saying she has begotten the LORD. Eve correctly understood and believed the core of God's promise in Gen. 3, but she was off on some of the details.

Actually, that is a good point. Sinning puts us at enmity with God and in league with the devil. BUT, what I was thinking was that those who are sinners--which means all of us--who want to do good, who want to be in fellowship with their creator, who do what is right in faith in their creator, are then at enmity with Satan. To Satan, that makes us traitors, so to speak.
Put there is also a sense that we are transferred from the power of darkness into the kingdom of Jesus.

Acts 26:17-18, "I will rescue you from your people and from the Gentiles—to whom I am sending you to open their eyes so that they may turn from darkness to light and from the power of Satan to God, so that they may receive forgiveness of sins and a place among those who are sanctified by faith in me.”

Ephesians 2:1-3, "You were dead through the trespasses and sins in which you once lived, following the course of this world, following the ruler of the power of the air, the spirit that is now at work among those who are disobedient. All of us once lived among them in the passions of our flesh, following the desires of flesh and senses, and we were by nature children of wrath, like everyone else.

Colossians 1:13, "He has rescued us from the power of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of his beloved Son,"

My guess is that when Adam and Eve sinned they were "transferred" into the power of darkness. They now came under the realm of Satan. So I doubt if the women that God is putting at enmity with Satan is Eve. I think that God is using the women to punish and humiliate Satan.

When sin entered the garden, something DIED to pay for that sin. The leaves Adam and Eve used to cover their sin was inadequate, an animal lost its precious life because of their sin. mary did NOT die for anyone!!! She is NOT the new eve.

Jesus' blood was shed on the cross NOT mary. All you have done is proved the rcc worships mary instead of God.

But the enmity wasn't limited to just the women, but her offspring and Satan's. God said, "I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your offspring and hers; he will strike your head, and you will strike his heel.” Cain, Abel and Seth are her offspring.

broken record!!!

and try to actually reason through Scripture
There was literally no other woman at this time.

Now the serpent was more cunning than any beast of the field which the Lord God had made. And he said to the woman (EVE), “Has God indeed said, ‘You shall not eat of every tree of the garden’?”

2 And the woman (EVE) said to the serpent, “We may eat the fruit of the trees of the garden; 3 but of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of the garden, God has said, ‘You shall not eat it, nor shall you touch it, lest you die.’ ”

4 Then the serpent said to the woman (EVE), “You will not surely die. 5 For God knows that in the day you eat of it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil.”

6 So when the woman (EVE)saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she (EVE) took of its fruit and ate. She (EVE) also gave to her husband with her, and he ate. 7 Then the eyes of both of them were opened, and they knew that they were naked; and they sewed fig leaves together and made themselves coverings.

8 And they heard the sound of the Lord God walking in the garden in the cool of the day, and Adam and his wife (EVE) hid themselves from the presence of the Lord God among the trees of the garden.

9 Then the Lord God called to Adam and said to him, “Where are you?”

10 So he said, “I heard Your voice in the garden, and I was afraid because I was naked; and I hid myself.”

11 And He said, “Who told you that you were naked? Have you eaten from the tree of which I commanded you that you should not eat?”

12 Then the man said, “The woman (EVE) whom You gave to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate.”

13 And the Lord God said to the woman (EVE), “What is this you have done?”

The woman (EVE) said, “The serpent deceived me, and I ate.”

14 So the Lord God said to the serpent:

“Because you have done this,
You are cursed more than all cattle,
And more than every beast of the field;
On your belly you shall go,
And you shall eat dust
All the days of your life.
15 And I will put enmity
Between you and the woman (STILL EVE),
And between your seed and her Seed;
He shall bruise your head,
And you shall bruise His heel.”
16 To the woman (EVE) He said:
So who is "her seed" then?
