Guess Isaiah was wrong, eh? I know...you're quoting the oral Torah. I'm only quoting the Tenakh: Isaiah 29:13Therefore the Lord said: “These people draw near to Me with their mouths and honor Me with their lips, but their hearts are far from Me. Their worship of Me is but rules taught by men. 14Therefore I will again confound these people with wonder upon wonder. The wisdom of the wise will vanish, and the intelligence of the intelligent will be hidden.”…Ridiculous. The whole purpose of the oral torah is to making obeying the torah possible. Nice try.
Why do you think the rules and commandments of men taught as doctrine is good? "In vain do they worship me!" What do you think that means, exactly? How vital and alive is the worship that men made up...because there was nothing left of the tools Moses left?
