a man originally from Nevada identified as “Kyle Thomas B” was “credited with full responsibility in the commission of the crime of carrying a firearm without a license and possession of cartridges for the exclusive use of the armed forces.”

The prosecutor general’s office said Busch was arrested on Jan. 27 and sentenced Monday to 3.5 years in prison and fined $1,100.

All for carrying a gun with hollow point ammo.

Mexico has very strict laws concerning guns.... it has never done anything to stop mass killings and the cartels from indiscriminately murdering others.

If you recall, a couple of years ago, a Marine from San Diego simply took a wrong turn and ended up in Mexico. Because he had a firearm in his truck, he was arrested and sent to prison.

Meanwhile, in our state, we're about to have Constitutional carry.

Now, this is the part where anti-2nd Amendment warrior, Vibise, chimes in to say something stupid.

Why would anyone take a gun into another country where that is against the law?

And why would anyone complain that this person was arrested and sentenced?

Read the title of the OP. Did you read the title?

It is a reference to what people like YOU want in America.

If a person is carrying a gun that is not permitted by law, then there should be penalties.
Ditto if a person, like a felon, is carrying a gun when that person is not allowed to to that.

What is the problem with that?

When people break the law of another country, they usually get punished? The Brittney Grimes case comes to mind. She broke a law and was sentenced. Yet a large number in the US expressed surprise and dismay when it happened.

Just go ahead and admit it. You want the same standard that is in Mexico in the United States.....

You were shootin' straight when you said that.

Yes, she broke the law and was punished, but the sentence was way over the top.
