Those living in heaven

RCs are under the impression that those who are dead are waiting for their requests. But revelation is clear, they are praising God. They are too busy to be servants of those on earth.

From my post in another thread:

Well let us be honest those who are in heaven are doing one thing, constantly praising the Lord.

Rev 7

11 All the angels were standing around the throne and around the elders and the four living creatures. They fell down on their faces before the throne and worshiped God, 12 saying:

“Amen!
Praise and glory
and wisdom and thanks and honor
and power and strength
be to our God for ever and ever.
Amen!”

Rev 19

4 Then the 24 elders and the four living beings bowed down. They worshiped God, who sits on the throne. They said,

“Amen! Hallelujah!”
5 Then a voice came from the throne and said,

“Praise our God,
all you who serve him!
Praise our God,
all you small and great who honor him!”
6 Then I heard something that sounded like a large crowd of people. It was as loud as crashing waves or claps of thunder. The people were saying,

“Hallelujah!
Our Lord God rules.
He is the All-Powerful.
7 Let us rejoice and be happy
and give God glory!
Give God glory, because the wedding of the Lamb has come.
And the Lamb’s bride has made herself ready.
8 Fine linen was given to the bride for her to wear.
The linen was bright and clean.”

So many verses explaining those in heaven are busy praising God.

So let us stop the pretence that we should pray to the dead. Why do RCs bother to keep up the pretence that they can pray to the dead?

Revelation 4:8
Day and night they never stop saying:

“‘Holy, holy, holy
is the Lord God Almighty,’
who was, and is, and is to come.”

Revelation 4:10-11
They lay their crowns before the throne and say:

“You are worthy, our Lord and God,
to receive glory and honor and power,
for you created all things,
and by your will they were created
and have their being.”

Revelation 5:9-10
And they sang a new song, saying:

“You are worthy to take the scroll
and to open its seals,
because you were slain,
and with your blood you purchased for God
persons from every tribe and language and people and nation.
You have made them to be a kingdom and priests to serve our God,
and they will reign on the earth.”

Revelation 5:12
In a loud voice they were saying:

“Worthy is the Lamb, who was slain,
to receive power and wealth and wisdom and strength
and honor and glory and praise!”

Revelation 5:13
Then I heard every creature in heaven and on earth and under the earth and on the sea, and all that is in them, saying:

“To him who sits on the throne and to the Lamb
be praise and honor and glory and power,
for ever and ever!”

Right. They continue to do things nowhere found in scripture because the bible isn't their standard, men are. Which is sad. If they tested all things....they would have to not only cease to do 99% of what they do but maybe be born again and leave that mess. Here is what Paul said about his brief visit to heaven.

2 Cor 12:3 And I know how such a man—whether in the body or apart from the body I do not know, God knows— 4 was caught up into Paradise and heard inexpressible words, which a man is not permitted to speak.

If heaven is that wonderful, which i can't wait....the last thing you are thinking about is work, hearing prayers or somehow passing them on. Catholics think when someone arrives in heaven their angel meets them and says come this way we have a nice cubicle for you. Calls are backing up hop on that.

The angels have work to do, don't they? And yet they also behold the face of God.
The difference is that they do not "toil" as Adam and the rest did after the fall.

12 Very truly I tell you, whoever believes in me will do the works I have been doing, and they will do even greater things than these, because I am going to the Father. 13 And I will do whatever you ask in my name, so that the Father may be glorified in the Son. 14 You may ask me for anything in my name, and I will do it.

Heaven is our rest. Not where God puts us to work.

Have you done greater works than Jesus did yet? Why don't you tell us about them?

You clearly don't understand the bible or Jesus' own words. He said them. Don't you believe them or is He joking? If He meant it, what did He mean. What is Romes infallible opinion..i mean interpretation?

The CC teaches that those who have died in Christ can intercede for us in heaven.

Why are people baptized on behalf of the dead?

If not yet, when do you think you will?

Heaven is where we praise God. RCs are still going to be working in heaven to be saved? Do you think God is going to kick RCs out of heaven if they stop working?
