It is rendered Natural in a verse which seems to have created quite a bit of controversy

1 Cor. 2:14 —KJV
“But the natural man receiveth not the things of the Spirit of God: for they are foolishness unto him: neither can he know them, because they are spiritually discerned.”

But what is a "natural" Psychikos man

BAGD states

1. adj. ψυχικὸς ἄνθρωπος an unspiritual man, one who lives on the purely material plane, without being touched by the Spirit of God 1 Cor 2:14. σῶμα ψυχ. a physical body 15:44a, b. The wisdom that does not come fr. above is called ἐπίγειος, ψυχικός (unspiritual), δαιμονιώδης Js 3:15.

The word is simply a way of referring to a natural mortal human person as opposed to those who have the Spirit.

Same idea really at 1 Cor 15:45.

All men by nature. And why did you post all that ? You made no point at all !
You have anything else besides your unsupported theology to offer

Can you explain how according to the text
men by believing the foolishness of preaching were able to be saved

The text is plain, the Natural man cannot receive the things of God. The natural man plainly is the unregenerate man born of a woman.

Huh ? This scripture is not talking about a spiritual man, the natural man 1 Cor 2 14, the exact opposite of a Spiritual man.

Paul is not talking about the ability to believe the Gospel message. Your imagination did that.

He is talking about the wisdom of God which only comes from the Holy Spirit.
