However I don't think it's an appositive, at least not in the way you seem to mean it. τῆς δόξης is dependent on the preceding ἐπιφάνειαν, which in turn sets up the dependent genitives following. I believe that "Great God and Savior" refers to Jesus Christ here. I wonder if James 2:1 is relevant?Off topic

I'm up for Jesus being the glory of God, but to me that indicates he is God himself.
