Ukraine Russia Narratives

I want sure where to post this, but I know someone that actually ascribes to much if not all of the Russian state narrative. I'm like, so Russia shuts down all non-government media outlets and your view aligns with what's left??? I told them, even if I knew nothing else, I would know that narrative likely false.
This person believes the war is only informational. Any videos you see to the contrary are all from other contexts. Too many fringe ideas for me to get on board. I try listening to people who may have actually lived in Russia or have studied Russian history, but the one thing I know is that the state narrative is likely false. Garry Kasparov (imv) has merit in his insight into Putin. He speaks of his mother who grew up under Stalin and she has said, with Stalin there was always a false hope of having a better life where everyone would live in love and harmony but with Putin is a culture of death, there is no fake hope, just chaos and creating enemies to justify his position in power.

I believe the former Grand Master chess champion of Russia Garry Kasparov beginning at -timestamp- 22:20 of the Starr Forum: Trump-Putin Phenomenon sheds some very good insight of Putin.
A very brief statement by Garry Kasparov on the present actions of Putin can be found here.

Putin - A wicked man

Proverbs 6:12-19 (NKJV)

12 A worthless person, a wicked man,
Walks with a perverse mouth;
13 He winks with his eyes,
He [1]shuffles his feet,
He points with his fingers;
14 Perversity is in his heart,
He devises evil continually,
He sows discord.
15 Therefore his calamity shall come suddenly;
Suddenly he shall be broken without remedy.

16 These six things the Lord hates,
Yes, seven are an abomination to [2]Him:
17 A[3] proud look,
A lying tongue,
Hands that shed innocent blood,
18 A heart that devises wicked plans,
Feet that are swift in running to evil,
19 A false witness who speaks lies,
And one who sows discord among brethren.

Footnotes

[1] gives signals, lit. scrapes
[2] Lit. His soul
[3] Lit. Haughty eyes

Yes I tend to agree. Although rulers govern and provide a sense of order and our acting in some capacity for God, I have a hard time the likes of Putin.

Well I struggle to see Putin acting in any kind of capacity for God. His actions are not the kind of God I want to follow
